On a regular basis the blade becomes detached from the Grass Trimmer, which is most unsatisfactory.I regularly have to hunt for the detached blade which may have just been replaced.The blades also broke easily!I have spent far more on blades than what the Trimmer was worth.Overall, I would not have purchased the item if I was aware of the issues with the blades.Peter

This product was just $20, three years ago, in three years time this plastic went to $10 up, or just the bunnings profits, could you digest buying ordinary fragile pastic for $30. Which doesn't even last very long. Absolute shame the way bunnings raises some of its product prices.Not happy at all

I've had this trimmer for about 2 years, much easier than regular petrol ones. Best for soft weeds and lawn, great for pets, the blades fold in or detach when they hit something too hard, so no stress about accidental cuts. I get about 30mins solid use, great for uneven areas that are too hard to mow. Best to get a set of the spare blades if you might use it on tougher plants. Although the battery recharge does take a few hours. Neighbour's love how quiet it is, and it's nice a light to lift. Would definitely reccomend

Line trimmers bump and feed always stop working for me, and I found having to manual feed the time whoever it broke was awkward. Also hated refitting the line spool.These blades on the Ozito trimmer last about an hour of trimming, and are quick and simple to replace.
I agree with the 73 year old avid gardener. I'm a 50 yr old female & I love this product the blades are very convenient, and I love the ease of the whipper snipper.The people that complain clearly do not know that the whipper snipper & blades are to be used for cutting grass, not concrete & hitting hard surface edges.
I wouldn't want to ever be without my Ozita Whipper Sbipper, and the blades are an integral part of that tool. Bunnings offers ther blades for an excellent price, so I always fet them from Bunnings
Bought these for the Grass trimmer I bought and was expecting them to be briitle-ish as I'd read the reviews but so far I'm impressed. I only have a small yard and not too many obstacles like rocks or trees so not getting broken. Love my Xmas present to myself.
I bought the trimmer, nobody tells you that the cord ones aren’t suitable for left handed people. So I buy the big pack of blades, you do go through a fair amount, but I’m able to get through a large amount of work . For me it’s the only thing to use.
Hi Guys,I previously complained about how week the blades are and I was breaking up to 15 blades, in one stint, doing my garden. annoying. I however liked the convenience of the lighter whiper snipper and using blades, not those dreaded strings. Decided to investigate. Noticed that the blades were made from PA6 (Nylon) Good ole google told me that nylon gets brittle when dried out. So I soaked 3 blades in a glass of warm water, overnight. Next day did my whole garden using the same blade, used it again the following week and it has still not broken. Problem solved - apologies for complaining. Suggest that you add this trick to your packaging . cheers
Its a great tool - light effective and reliable. Took me 12 months to work out why blades flew off too often (yes near edges and fence as other stated). The first solution I found was to wrap a blade of grass around the round button to which the plastic blade attaches - it worked lol so now further improvise to piece of cotton or even a tiny piece of tape.
