Ok but the heat only last 20 mins or so. Pain that you have to boil for 5 minutes or more to reset.... Show more

I purchased three of these thermal pouches and have used them on one camping trip so far. They are okay. The boiling to reset is a bit tedious, but there aren't many other
options when you have no electricity. I do like how you can reset these earlier in the day and then use them straight away at bedtime, compared to a hot water bottle which
has to be prepared close to bed time. However I did have some issues with resetting the pouches. Only one out of the three did reset properly post boiling; the other two
crystallised again, so they weren't usable. Not sure why this happened as I did make sure the gel had softened before removing them from the boil.

Great! For a one off...

These really are great, and very handy to have around. The heat is perfect, very warm, not to hot. However, to reset they need to boil for about 10 minutes, so when camping, and you just used 4 the night before, it does take time away from other adventures. We bought a few extra for trips as they are nice and small, very cheap (cheaper and better than a heat bag!), then just boil them when we get home. Also, make sure the crystals are fully melted when you reset them, otherwise they will just crystallise again when they cool! You can tell as the crystals feel like sand when you press on the packet, so just make sure they are all gone before you finish with the Billy.... Show more
