I have a queen size swag and zempire pronto 4, but I wanted something in between that was super easy to set up for quick weekend trips I can leave in my small car and had an awning . * benefit over the swag > Same set up time as a dome swag, similar frame (pull out poles) but it is smaller pack size and I can sit up inside, store gear inside and plenty of space with big dogs inside too. * benefit over the zempire pronto> it is way smaller in my car, faster to set up (less guy ropes, pegs and easier to roll up). similar footprint you just can’t stand up in it. * other thing is under the awning for oztrail is about 150cm (similar to zempire) so you can easily sit under it with chairs. I’m actually considering selling the swag and zempire now and using this with a car awning/gazebo for shelter as it ticks all the boxes. *** I haven’t used it in the rain yet but it seems good quality and looks like there shouldn’t be issues. * Only con i can think of is the frame doesn’t look as sturdy/long term as an air tent/swag as it has plastic parts. i wish black wolf or similar could make a tent this size with canvas/aluminium poles that could be replaced if broken and this would be the ultimate car camping tent!
