32 Inch Pro Art Monitor 2k 165hz -- A Sweet Spot Between Specs

I've owned the monitor for a month so far and it has not disappointed. As a work from home creative (creative design related work primarily; adobe etc.) who also games, I decided not to go straight into 4k and opted for this 2k monitor with the higher 165hz refresh rate, as opposed to 4k, a lower hz, and probably a lot more graphical strain in terms of gaming. In other words, this monitor hits a nice sweet spot between specs, but has the size and precision of a solid professional-grade monitor, while secondarily doubling as an all around workhorse entertainment monitor. Personally, I don't really want multiple monitors cluttering my space, preferring one really excellent all-arounder instead. And I looked at many many monitors, and ultimately selected this asus, edging out the asus 4k equivalent, and a number of other competing brands (personally, Ive had a strong track record with asus). In terms of visuals, the colors are, from what I can tell so far, very well produced. Which is probably the principal reason to buy this monitor. I wanted print accuracy. Otherwise, the screen size is formidable. I can't really imagine wanting a bigger screen atm, and don't really care for the longer, wider feel of many sizable competing screens (especially the curved types). The dimensions of the screen are, in my view, more balanced than most, and aesthetically are more appealing than some thinner, wider monitors. And the real estate of the screen itself is very nice, spacious, and allows me to see the work more clearly, and in an enlarged, detailed scale. Overall, it suits my needs nicely. Otherwise, the build of the monitor is excellent. Very sturdy. Aesthetically clean, without some of the gaudy race-car lines of many gaming or pc related products. I'm sure I'll glean more about the monitor as time goes on, but so far I feel it has been just about what I had hoped for, so I can definitely recommend it, especially for other creative types that might dabble in gaming. Thats it for the moment! a really solid piece of hardware.

Excellent new wfh monitor

Easily a buy and appreciably better than my previous pb278q

Premium QHD 32" Monitor worthy of consideration. It answers all my needs.

I primarily use my PC for consuming content and also heavy use of creative software such as Photoshop/Premiere Pro etc. I came to this monitor from an existing 27" Dell QHD monitor which just seemed just a little too small. I have been searching for a premium 30"+ QHD monitor that displays accurate colors but the options have so far been more gaming-focused. Since the initial product announcement mid-year I have been keenly awaiting the actual release as this monitor seemed to be the answer to all my wants: 32", QHD, Color Accurate, Trusted Brand. One thing I was worried about was if 32" is too big for QHD resolution and would result in a "Screen Door Effect", but I was happy that this was not an issue at all. They make navigating the menu system easy. Also included are 2 mounting options 1) The usual monitor stand 2) Clamp-based stand to attach it to the edge of your desk. Overall, absolutely amazing quality and am totally thrilled with my purchase because I am very picky. Would buy again / 10.

The best display I've ever had

This display is a jack of all trades for me, but it's really solid in every aspect. It's great for all sorts of graphics workflows, but also an amazing game and entertainment display. It has one of the best HDR implementations I've ever seen and on top of that it has 165Hz with incredibly vibrant and accurate colors, which in my opinion destroys most of the "gaming" competition, even though it's not marketed as such. On top of that, the build quality is really solid, the menu is quite easy to use and readable and it works very reliably overall.

Too good to be true, because it is!

I've been through three of these ProArt displays in a month. Each from a different vender and each had dead pixels upon arrival. It's really too bad because I like the overall build quality and even the picture quality, but ASUS' quality control is evidently pretty bad. Their customer service was awful too. ASUS had me on hold for over 90 minutes and got no help.Unless you're okay with dead pixels on a new ~700 dollar screen, avoid this product.
