Having received the product, I wasn't ready to use it immediately. However, when the time came to store some files, this was chance to test the new 3M Moving Packing Tape. It was instantly obvious that 3M was continuing to use the "tried and true" dispenser that has worked so well for us over the years. It was also nice seeing the blade warning cover. Let me preface this by saying that overall, my tape-related experiences have been good, that's why I'm baffled with the rolls I was trying to use today. This is what I found to be different about it. Finding the beginning of the roll was easy. The tape pulls off the roll so smoothly that I did not have to wrestle with the dispenser to adhere the tape to the box. The metal cutting edge easily tears the tape exactly where needed. Should you run out of tape, the dispenser is refillable.

Was looking for reinforced packaging tape for an international package. Found this instead. Very nice quality and it was refreshing that the tape dispenser kept the tape where it should and cut cleanly. It didn't stick to itself after using as so many others do and unless you have long fingernails, you can't pry back up. Package is taped completely and I have no doubt this will arrive intact. Will use this for other taping jobs as it's heavy duty. Can't go wrong with Scotch.
I volunteer to evaluate products from 3M and the company recently sent me a sample of the Scotch Moving Packaging tape. I needed to move some heavy boxes from my basement up the stairway to my outer storage room, so I tested the tape out. I was afraid of boxes opening or tipping over. I was very pleased with the holding power of the Scotch Moving tape. It held on to my packages very securely even when they jiggled back and forth! This tape will hold up to 80 pounds! It's tough!It comes with an easy dispenser that can be refilled. The smooth unwinding flow of the roll of tape and the sharp, precise cutting edge is a great feature! I recommend this tape for secure packaging and moving!

I am moving & the timing for trying this tape was perfect to receive this free product from 3M to evaluate. I love the dispenser that allows to tear the tape perfectly. I love the sure start roll that tears perfectly with each use. The tape is strong enough to tape boxes closed & keep them closed. I also used it to seal an envelope to mail. The dispenser is quiet unlike other ear piercing dispensers I have used before. It is very easy to use for those of us with arthritis. I am proud to use a USA made product using globally sourced materials & was surprised to find out the dispenser is made from recycled product. All around this is the best packaging tape to use. I was very lucky to be able to sample such an excellent product. I highly recommend it!
