Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT 50ml

I ordered the small bottle right after finding a tester of the real deal in a Sephora. I didn't want to spring the money right away, and was slightly curious as to the authenticity of this calibur of cologne ordered online in general. So I threw 20 bucks at it.The 'tester' bottle I tried had a powerful, yet subtle, intriguing scent. Both my girlfriend and I loved it. I actually hate the packaging as I'm not really a flashy person. But, the scent was great. Stayed on me for hours after 1 spray, and even cut through my current cologne. It smells of alcohol and cheapness (sometimes not the worst thing, but not in a cologne). It's like it was diluted with a bottle of Smirnoff (again, maybe if you're into that sort of thing).I give the scent a 3 star, and the product a 1 star. I'm disappointed it's not the same scent, I'm unsure if I'll ever wear it as it doesn't have the appeal I liked in the real one, and I would NEVER pay $20 again for this, let alone $100 for the bigger bottle. It's a total rip - you can find cheaper colognes online that do it better.Moreover, this is my first and last foray into thinking I can get any cologne online. I got a full size to try and review for free. Upon receiving the box I was definitely impressed with the way it looked, the gold instantly made you aware that this is an expensive perfume! After I opened the box, the bottle itself has a unique design with an angled top and spray button. The back bottom half is glass while the front has that beautiful gold metal look that will look amazing on any counter top! The initial spray took about 6 pumps to get out of the bottle and it had a nice even spray. The smell instantly filled the room and lingered for a long time. If you like something bold with a sweet tone that will linger behind you for awhile then this is it! The scent in my opinion is vanilla, leather, honey, woodsy, warm/sweet mixed with a manly smell. I like that it’s not a harsh “cologne man over powering” type of smell. I don’t know how to describe it. I suppose into a comparison to mens cologne that’s a deep yellow/amber scent. Those kinds remind me of an “old man” scent trying to mask something to the point you can’t breathe. This 1 million reminds me of success smooth cozy. I’d say it’s an all year scent for sure.

Firstly, I must say that 1 million isn't a super unusual, complex, or a niche scent. It is a true classic. This is one of those scents that are so versatile, as a woman I personally love it on myself, and on my man too. It is warm and inviting, yet has a bit of a spice, it is sexy, but not vulgar. The projection isn't loud, offensive, or obnoxious in any way, it makes me lean in closer to get a whiff of it again, I just can't get enough of it. That being said, I wish it lasted longer, I can say with confidence that it lingers for 3-4 hours, but then it fades and I wish it didn't, so 1 star off for that. 1 million is a great gift idea, and a safe blind-buy, if you are buying it as a gift chances are they will like it, you really can't go wrong with this one. Pleasantly surprised!

I got sent a full size of 1 Million from Influenster and originally was planning to give it to my boyfriend as a little gift. He usually uses a Polo scent and had heard mixed reviews about 1 Million, as a lot of his friends have tried it before. When he tried it he was pleasantly surprised with how it smelled on him, and we were both surprised by how much we actually liked it. I tried it on myself just for fun (I'm someone who's super sensitive to strong scents usually) but it smelled totally different on me. Almost like a warm and spicy vanilla. This is one of the best fragrances to me., and I'm a lady....

I have an embarrassing amount of perfume in search of I don't know inner peace or the perfect sent.. with this sent I may have succeeded in one of those areas. I had received a sample of this and fell in love with it not knowing it was supposed to be a man's cologne and yes I can sniff that out (the mens cologne aspect of it all) but its also soft and sensual and spicy in the best kind of way. I can see how on a man this would be a sent you would want to get closer to, but I feel it is just as good on a woman. I will stop there but I think it may be more helpful in a review to understand what a person likes, I personally don't like powdery heavy florals. I just bought AG's Cloud perfume and didn't really like it much. I don't know if this review helps at all but I tried. And I love this sent.
