I went on a trip to Italy where I was travelling from England to Piza, then Florence, then Rome and finally Sorrento. I wanted to make sure that I could have a backpack that acted like another suitcase but also keep my belongings safe. My only grumble was that the lid needed another pocket. Everything else was brilliant. I got so much in it and it also allowed me to be organised between each location. Knowing that it was lockable when putting this in the storage on the train between locations made me feel safe. I also own the pacsafe sling which protected my belongings whilst sight seeing.

Very light backpack. Peace of mind having anti-theft features. It measures big enough to fit a capsule wardrobe. But measures small enough to fit many underseat requirements for airline use. In terms of organization/pockets, it only has the clothing straps in the interior. The main compartment anti-theft clips on the outside, common in Pacsafe products, were a little cumbersome to attach/detach. The backpack straps are comfortable but do not detach and pack away for storage or checking bags. It would've been nice if the luggage sleeve were horizontal and wider to keep the backpack upright.

This is a great pack for keeping things safely tucked in and away from pick-pocketers. All of the zippers have special closures that prevent someone from easily getting access. Love that you can also easily attach this to a piece of furniture to prevent theft, and the straps have metal in them to prevent from cutting. This fabric is also cut-resistent, keeping contents safe. Well made.

My beautiful bag just arrived. I had been looking for a clamshell backpack so when Pacsafe came out with this beauty I was happy. I have several Pacsafe bags so familiar with all the security features. This was bought for a trip to Iceland that’s coming up. Thanks Pacsafe. I would say it’s more a dusky blue green than mint. Very pretty.
I took this backpack to Germany as a weekender and it was amazing! It easily fit three outfits, layering clothes, and even a jacket. The anti-theft features gave me peace of mind while traveling on the subway, and my favorite part is that I can carry it on my back like a backpack. I also loved the front compartment for storing my laptop and charging cables. I later took it on a cabin trip, and it worked just as great. Highly recommend for anyone needing a versatile travel bag!

I’m not sure if the strap on the top is a handle or something to hang the bag on a hook with. I used it as a handle when inching down the aircraft aisle and found it most uncomfortable to hold 7kg. A bit wider and a bit softer would have been nice.What was I both positive and negative on?• Zips 1. I understand and applaud the tamper proof slot thingy on the zip – but it is an absolute pain for old fingers to undo in a hurry at the security check. I learned not to do the zip up all the way. I don’t know what the answer is here.• Zips 2. I also understand and applaud the forward-facing zip on the top pocket – but I need to train myself not to look for the zip in the wrong place.Verdict?I have recommended that my wife get one. Greater praise than that, I cannot give.
Carry on is a problem for me. It has to be usable with my canes. I can swing this onto my back after clearing TSA, then use the straps to swing it into the overhead. Big enough to carry my medical and weather gear. I wish I could completely remove or stow the shoulder straps, The claim for a lot of connection points is pretty optimistic. The whole pack feels really good. They don't waste extra weight on unneeded organizer materials. It has just the right pockets. It's beautiful. I have found it impossible to clean the light colored Pacsafe items... the lining dye bleeds through when washed. I haven't taken this into rain yet. All my Pacsafe items have been waterproof when closed. I'm so accustomed to the security of Pacsafe, I won't use any other luggage products. ... MoreCarry on is a problem for me. I absolutely love Pacsafe, I have 3 other products that I’m happy with and thought I would give this one a try. I bought it specifically for a trip to Europe because -pickpockets- and it started falling apart at the airport before my first flight out of the country. By the second flight the top zipper literally fell on my hand, I couldn’t use it as a backpack because the seam kept coming apart, I was only able to use it on top of my carry on roller and I was able to use the side handle to move it around (an unnecessary annoyance since I’m paying for an expensive product) needles to say this backpack was anything but safe. I contacted customer service right away and they started the return process. I was traveling abroad for 2 weeks and from blogs I got nervous about pickpockets. I saw a recommendation for this brand and took a chance with a purse. The purchase was everything I wanted and more, so then I bought this backpack. I was able to pack my week of clothes in this backpack and souvenirs we purchased. I recommend this backpack and look forward to purchasing more items.
