Pajarito Yerba Mate Special Selection Tea, 1 kg

Pajarito is a true jewel of Paraguay ... Yerba is strong, with a strong flavor, very noticeable aroma and the right strength. It can really stimulate, and at the same time does not cause heart palpitations. Perfect at any time, whether at work or for relaxation ... For me, it is the only yerba I must always have in stock. However, its taste and stimulant properties are not suitable for beginners, I would recommend a weaker yerbe such as Union, CBSe or Taragui Con Palo instead.

Excellent Mate

I usually drink Argentinian mates but wanted to try a Paraguayan one. Although the custom is to drink Pajarito cold, I found it to be an excellent hot drink that keeps its intense smoky flavour really well over refills. Absolutely worth a try. It's now going to be a constant presence in my yerba mate cupboard!

New brew, losing wieght too

Great new drink, we've cut back on coffee too. Both my wife and I are noticing wieght loss too. Highly recommended try with honey

Online forums were saying, yeah

Online forums were saying, yeah this is a mate for men and either you love it or hate it. Probably not the best choice for someone who just began the journey into mate world, (better to start from something like Rosamonte), I have been warned it tastes like an ashtray or it's tough like a fist and ignoring those comments was a very good choice. I mean it is strong but just like coffee without sugar you expect it to be bitter, it is a lot better than coffee without sugar, does not clog up the bombilla and I used up 1kg within two weeks drinking it like madness. Personally, if I drunk as much coffee I'd be shaking but after Pajarito, nothing. Just a word of warning it may have a different effect on you!!! Overall, one of the best mate's I tried and luckily I have ... MoreOnline forums were saying, yeah this is a mate for men and either you love it or hate it. Terere!

Brilliant product. Pajarito is a very popular brand of yerba in Paraguay where it is used mostly to drink 'terere'. A cold tea drank, through a metal straw (bombilla), from a special drinking vessel, usually made from horn or metal, called guampa. The water must be really cold, you can add 'ka'a' (herbs) to help you lose weight, etc. Some people carry a flask with cold water everywhere to drink their terere throughout the day.

Travelled around 10'000 killometres to be drinked by me.

This Yerba Mate tea is harvested in the Paraguay - the country where the best Yerba Mate comes from! You can tell the difference by the energy it gives so smoothly and maintains high and long enaugh, and doesnt have this low energy crash effect. Thoughts fly faster as with more focus. Strong stuff!! I recommend to get more info about this tea and dosages if You are first time user, couse this tea contains high levels of caffeine and people with caffeine intolerance should be careful and start with small dosages. I drunk a nice cup hour before mutual exam in work and this Mate helped me in all questions. Also I noticed increased metabolism while using this tea! Highly recommend!

Uplifting wholesome tea

Yerba Mate Pajarito Especial 1Kg

Mate is still new to me so I enjoy trying new brands from the store, Pajarito Especial is one of my latest. (Also bought Pipore and Rosamonte Especial at the same time)The flavour is wondefull, full and smokey, it reminds me of walking through a burnt corn field here in the UK as a child! Not to much of a caffine hit, so can drink at any time. The only down side is the cycles are low before the flavour drops off, maybe 3/4 litre. Though at the price per kg thats not such a big issue. I make at around 70° , have not tried cold, and use the spoon bombilla supplied with my first "Bird Gourd" with with no issues

good one, but too much powder.

I've tried other yerbas before, also this one. Pajarito's flavour isn't as strong as others but I also wouldn't call it mild, so I think is a good one for when newbies want to move on to a different yerba. I enjoyed it 'tho; however, I think it has too much powder compared to others. As with Canarias, I feel I'm getting rid of a good amount of flavour by shaking away a good amount of powder. Anyway, I say go for it, has good flavour and aroma.
