I have sensitive skin and that means that at times I have to be careful with the products that I use on my face. The wrong product will cause issues almost straight away. The words "safe for sensitive skin" are always enticing, so I was glad to see them printed on the box of the Palmers Moisture Rich night Cream. It became even better when I looked at all the goodies that this cream contains, such as Vitamin E which is a powerful Antioxidant, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera, which are known for their soothing properties. Most exciting of all is the fact that it also contains Retinol for aiding in your skins renewal process. This cream absorbs wonderfully well and is not greasy on the skin at all. It caused no issues with my sensitive skin, and left my skin feeling smoother, softer, and with a healthy radiance. Fine lines are reduced and I love the Night cream so much I have already purchased a replacement Jar.\nThe jars themselves are very sturdy ceramic with plastic screw on lids.\nIf you are looking for a good night cream that contains Retinol and won't break the bank then this is the product for you.\n

I received a sample size of this about a year ago and loved it. I am into the whole cocoa butter/coconut scent of Palmer's – scent is very important to me and while unscented is fine (and probably safer in terms of irritants), a bad scent is usually a deal-breaker for me. Happily Palmers has a scent that I love - but what about the actual quality of the night cream? Well, I was delighted and a little surprised that such an affordable - okay, let’s be frank, downright cheap – product worked so well. Palmer's night cream is rich, thick and creamy – just the formula I need to see my skin through the sleeping hours. I can massage it very easily and it absorbs well. Palmer's night cream is rich, thick and creamy – just the formula I need to see my skin through the sleeping hours. I can massage it very easily and it absorbs well. The next morning my skin feels so soft and plump and looks brighter. So Palmer's night cream is cheap only in the monetary sense, definitely not in quality. The only disappointment was that the size being so small – only 15g- soon ran out, and when I repurchased only the small size was available. Fortunately I eventually found the much more practical 75g size, so I can enjoy the velvety goodness without running back to the shop too soon.\n\nThe cocoa butter formula is the power behind the moisture-enhancing properties of the cream and it’s thickness acts as a protectant. In addition to the familiar cocoa butter, there is Retinol to encourage cell renewal, softening Vitamin E, aloe and peptides. This combination of ingredients produces an awesome result – soft, glowing skin ready for the day and, of course, your morning beauty routine.\n\nPalmer's Night Cream is suitable for anyone, but I would particularly recommend it for drier, ageing skin, that would appreciate a thicker, more nourishing texture. Equally recommended for those who want a good night cream without spending a fortune – in other words, all of us! \n

I have used a lot of the Palmer’s body products but it wasn’t until I was given a tube of Palmer’s Moisture Rich Night Cream that I took more notice of the face products. \n \nThe first thing I noticed about the Moisture Rich Night Cream is that it contains Retinol which is one of my favourite skincare ingredients to promote skin renewal and enhance collagen production. In fact, my skin pretty much accepts anything, but the effectiveness of any product is based on whether I see a noticeable improvement in my skin over a four week period. \n \nMy first impressions of the Moisture Rich Night Cream were: the fragrance is strong but pleasant; and the texture is smooth, rich and creamy. I don’t mind a fragrance in skincare products at all. In fact, I find them quite calming and soothing, especially during my evening skincare routine. I prefer a rich night cream that melts into my skin and works overnight to plump and nourish my skin. \n \nThe deciding factor on how I apply this cream depends on which skincare products I apply first. If I apply a booster and serum then I find it much easier to pat the night cream into my skin rather than try and spread it. But, no matter which way it is applied, the night cream smells good and feels good. \n \nFor me, the tell-tale sign if a product is keeping my skin hydrated overnight, is when I awake to skin that looks smooth, soft and plump. And, Palmer’s has top marks for doing this. When I cleanse my skin each morning it looks healthy, glowing and hydrated. Just how I like my skin to look. \n \nGood things come in small packages and I like the small tubes the Palmer’s Moisture Rich Night Cream is packaged in. This keeps the product fresh and I find the tubes so easy and practical for travelling. I’d recommend Palmer’s Moisture Rich Night Cream to anyone with combination or dry skin who is looking for an affordable, rich night cream. \n\n

Skin Suitability:My skin is combo and i only use it on my night routine. My skin will feel a bit dry the next morning so have to use extra moisturizer.Absorption:It absorbs well but need to leave it for few minutes to completely seeps in your skin before putting moisturizer. If its your first time with retinol, i recommend it to use it in a pea size around your face. Results: I only have been using it for couple of weeks but i could see my acnes have gone smaller and my redness is almost gone.
I used to to the Palmer's Acne Soap bar, but during pandemic I had trouble getting more. So I tried Neutrogena products (the water based line since I have OILY skin) my skin got WORSE. I had very big breakouts all over my face and neck. It hurt and it was terrible. I ready your skin has to purge when you switch facecare products. I kept looking to see when the acne var would be available again. So in the meantime I got SO many Palmer's products. I now use the Skin Success line: Deep Cleaning Astringent, Complexion Toner, Anti-Acne Medicated Complexion Bar, Anti Dark Spot Complexion Bar, Dark Spot Correcting Facial Cleanser, Anti Dark Spot Fade Cream for Oily skin during the day and the Anti Dark Spot Fade Cream for Night. I even use the Skin Therapy Face Oil and the Moisture Rich Night Cream. I started feeling real relief at the 4 week mark or reincorporating these products. I noticed at the 5 week mark my skin feels so supple and smooth. I'm seeing more overall skin clarity. I still have the dark spots from my acne (I think I need a good facial or two to get rid of that) but no new acne has come! My skin is really coming along again and I will never stray. I just wish Palmer's made a sunblock and eye cream. I still use a Neutragena sun block though. So it's hard to say if any one product helped me since I basically use it all! I even use the Purifying Enzym Mask once a week. The toner and astringent are great for when I go camping and find it difficult to wash my wash. So much dirt comes off! I'm a Palmers girl for life!
I have been using this night cream for some years now. It was recommended to me by a friend who is a make up artist, tried all the expensive brands, but stuck with this one, as have I. I have combination and sensitive skin. This product has a beautiful, thick consistency, but soaks right in and doesn't leave greasy residue. It seems to even my skin tone. It's not a miracle reverse ageing type of cream, but rarely they are. It's just a great product which smells and feels nice and great value. Totally recommend!
I bought this a month ago looking for a night cream at target and being a palmers fan I thought I’d give it a try. Oh I also bought the face oil…. First try I love it. The texture is amazing. Very smoothing and feels so light and absorbs so easily….at first it did felt tight in my skin skin the first couples of days. But with any product with retinol I decided to try doing it every other day. Well, it did the trick!!! This is my second jar and so far this is the only cream that I see results on! My skin is smoother, even toned and brighter! My pores are smaller and my skin feels so hydrated. I use it along the the face oil and it’s a perfect combo!
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula line is one of my favorite skincare lines so I was hoping I'd love this. However, the added perfume in this product is incredibly strong and overpowering. The smell could fill up a whole room. It even caused breathing issues, which I was not expecting. Even if it didn't bother me personally if I had someone else near me who had breathing issues or strong allergies I definitely would not be able to use this. It lingered around for hours too. If anyone at palmer's is reading this, making a version without any fragrance would be amazing. I do want to like this. Since this has retinol in it you'll have to put another hydrating product underneath this cream. Even though I knew that this product did make my skin tighter than I expected. I had to go back into the bathroom and apply another moisturizer. I wouldn't say that's inherently this cream's fault cause it's on the label that it has retinol in it but normally when I read "night cream" I think it's going to be really hydrating and this wasn't (for the winter I'm experiencing).

It is my attempt at facial regeneration lol! What initially attracted me to this particular night cream was the magical ingredient, Retinol, in the ingredients list.I am 45 yrs old, my face has remained wrinkle free apart from one line on the forehead. This cream is especially effective for applying all around the eyes (but it’s not an eye cream, so be careful!). I usually close the eye that I am applying the cream to, then apply to the outward corners first (where the top and bottom of the eye meets), apply all around that eye, the lids etc., then across the bridge of the nose, then do the same with the other eye.Once the eyes are done, I then apply to the forehead, then the rest of the face, then neck front / top of shoulders, then back of neck. When applying to the face area, upward strokes are a must, to lift the face as you apply the cream. You do not want to motivate a sag!Thank you iHerb, and I hope my review of Palmer’s Moisture Rich Night Cream is useful to all you guys and gals 🙂…
