[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I quite like this liquid hand wash, it does what it is expected of it; cleanses the hands effectively, rids the hands of dirt, grease and grime and isn't too harsh. Protects the hands from germs for up to two hours which is a huge plus. It can be a little bit drying, especially if you wash your hands in warm water, but a bit of hand cream after washing easily fixes this issue. A little goes a long way, it foams up quite well to a soft foam. Rinses off easily. The handwash is transparent orange in colour, the scent is quite sweet from the orange. I don't mind it although it can smell a little bit 'medicinal'. I can understand why others may be put off by the scent, it can smell a little bit cloying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] My parents have this in the laundry room at their farm and we use this when we've been out doing farmwork, with the dogs, chickens etc. It works really well and the antibacterial properties in this works. It smells a bit clinical so isn't what you'd want to use maybe if you're on your way out or want to smell particularly nice. It's not a bad smell, but it's just a very practical smell. It's a yellow gel that is thickish and lathers quickly. It washes off well and leaves my hands on the dry side. I always use hand cream immediately after. If I don't I find that the skin around my cuticles tends to go a bit flakey. I would reccomend if you need an anti-bacterial hand wash versus a nicer smell wash.

The best thing about it is the wonderful sandalwood fragrance which no other supermarket brand of hand wash other than Palmolive seems to have. It seems unique to Palmolive only which is a reason why I hope that Palmolive never discontinues this product. This hand wash lathers up well and leaves my hands clean and smelling delightfully of sandalwood. I can't make a comment on its anti-bacterial properties as I have no way of testing that but I buy this hand wash primarily for its unique and unusual fragrance which I adore. Having strong and pleasant fragrances that linger on the hands is an important selling point in a hand wash. It makes a User like me enjoy the simple act of washing my hands. I no longer have cakes of soap for this purpose thanks to Palmolive. Using their product also means simpler cleaning of the sink for me; no more soap scraps lying on and around the sink.

Palmolive's antibacterial liquid handwash effectively gets rid of germs when I follow the proper procedure of turning on tap, lathering up, under my fingernails, in between my fingers and up to my wrists for a minimum of 20 seconds. I then use some paper towel to dry my hands and use the same towel to turn off the taps. The scent isn’t the nicest but I veritably detest masking fragrances. One pump is sufficient to clean my hands between tasks. While I don’t love the ingredients, they are necessary to prevent spread of germs. All in all, Palmolive has done well and this is a staple in our kitchen and bathroom.

I need that anti-bacterial protection as mice aren't always the cleanest animals (much as theyre adorable and I love them). But it sounds like this would be good in the kitchen too to neutralise odours from onions and garlic and other pungent foods. The smell of this handwash is nice and fresh - like limes with a hint of perfume too. It lingers on your skin even after washing it off. Even though it contains citrus I find this still to be gentle on the skin. It has a nice lather and cleans well. I really like the shape of the Palmolive bottles too.
