I haven’t bought Palmolive body wash in so long but this is now my new favourite! The scent of the Davidson Plum is delicious and stays on my skin all day. I find it is really nourishing too. Made in Australia is always a winner for me and contains no nasty Parabens, Phthlates, Silicones, Mineral Oil, Alcohol (so drying on my skin!). It’s also made with recycled plastic. I love it!

First impressions was the packaging looks a bit more high-end than a typical palmolive shower gel. Looks very nice in the shower. It smells absolutely divine, what I particularly like about the scent is that it's not overly feminine, meaning this could easily be used by the whole family. It's also not overpowering post-shower so wouldn't clash with perfumes etc. I liked the idea that it contains AHA, but I didn't get the tingly sensation or notice any chemical exfoliation effects that I would expect having used AHA facial cleansers so I wonder if it's at too low a concentration. I also question its statement of "hyper nourishing". It's not particularly drying, but I don't find it any more nourishing than most standard shower gels. This is the main reason I wouldn't personally buy again.

This is a great product! I wasn’t sure what to expect as I was imaging dish soap when I saw the brand was Palmolive, but it smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling soft! I’m also very impressed that there are no nasties, particularly parabens. The only thing I would improve is the packaging. It looks a bit outdated and I like the packagaing of the soap I had before better, rbis one isn’t super trendy and the colors are to outdated.

The new Palmolive skin food range was great to try. I enjoyed the fresh scent it left on my skin after a shower and felt fresh and clean after using. It did take a little bit to lather but I found giving it the extra lathering time meant that the body wash actually soaked into my skin and left it feeling moisturised. I noticed the biggest difference using the hand wash as I have young children at home so am constantly washing my hands, and they can be prone to a bit of dryness particularly over the colder months. The hand wash really helped to avoid a lot of that dryness during the day and with a moisturise at night to top them up it worked a real treat. Would recommend to those who tend to have slight dryness or to maintain moisture of normal skin types.
Tested this product for over two weeks. Didn’t lather unless scrubbed quite a bit unfortunately. Had to double wash hands when makeup or a cream was on them so I don’t feel like it was very effective unfortunately. Did leave my hands always soft. I’ve VERY prone to dermatitis on my hands and it didn’t trigger a break out which is very good. Smell was very good as welll, not too strong.
The pump pack is easy to use, doesn't get clogged and I felt was very sturdy, I kept mine on the shower floor. The pack was very large and had/has a lot in there so good value for money. I liked the fragrance in this one, however felt that everything including the bottle itself was designed more for an older demographic and the scent felt that way too. I normally choose an organic body wash with a natural scent. I do think it was very hydrating, it just wasnt the right product for me.
The Skin Food Plum Body Wash is infused with native superfood extracts and 100% natural AHA which target at hydrating and smoothing the body skin. It has a pleasant plum/berry fragrance and foams easily with a loofa. I have noticed a significant decrease in the back and chest acnes after using this body wash for several weeks. The texture would be more suitable for those with oily and combination skin, and both my hubby and I enjoy using this product on a regular basis.
First thought; this body was smells so delicious. Thoughts whilst using; scent isn't too strong, feels luxurious (somewhat creamy), lathers nicely. Thoughts immediately after; skin doesn't have that 'stripped' or dry feeling. Thoughts the next day (forgot I'd trialed a new body wash); 'why does my skin feel smoother?'. Final thoughts: Having quite dry and sensitive skin, I did not find this product to cause any issues after using for a good 2 weeks now. I really enjoy the scent and how my skin feels the next day. I will continue to use and would probably repurchase!
After completing my week trial of the Davidson Plum body wash, I’m very happy to continue using it. It smells beautiful and it’s gentle on my skin which can get very dry in winter. Ive had to hide it from my children because they kept trying to use it as a bubble bath. It’s been a hit with the family. The sizing of the bottle is generous for the recommended retail price. What drew me to the product line was the use of Australian Native Fruit. I think that we are finally beginning to see more brands use natives in their products and that makes me happy. I’d happily purchase it again in future.
this product pleasantly surprised me! I loved how fresh it smells and that it is made with Australian ingredients. The gel lathers really nicely for a product with no sulphates! it feels really soft and gentle on the skin, I just wish the fragrance laster longer! The bottle itself dispenses the product really evenly- the long spout helps with this. Great size bottle for a great price!
