This flosser is awesome. I wanted something that works great to supplement regular flossing that didn't take up too much counter space. The three speed settings are great but I just keep it on normal. Sure, the capacity is small but that's expected since it's much smaller than a plug in type oral irrigator. Also, since the whole thing is waterproof it's really not a big deal to quickly flip open the tank door and refill it. You can just turn the water on and fill it quickly, you don't have to bother being careful about it since the whole thing can get wet. I usually use 2-3 tanks per use. After use, I just drain the tank and set it back on the charger, but I leave the tank door open so it can air dry. The only negative (and really not a negative because I knew before I bought it) is that they recommend against using it with mouthwash, so I still do a final mouthwash rinse after using it.

A new addition to my oral health care routine

Personally for me the jet function is ideal however it is quite strong so it may not be for everyone. Alternatively there are normal and soft modes which seem pretty effective. You can adjust the water jet head to reach the back teeth so overall I have not had difficulty reaching any of my teeth. I would describe the irrigator as noisier than a conventional electric tooth brush but it's not an issue for me. Whilst I have described the irrigator as cumbersome it has to be large to accommodate the water tank. I have pretty large hands so it's ok for me but someone with small hand may find the device difficult to handle. A couple of tips; use ambient temperature water as cold water does make my teeth a little sensitive and don't turn the device on until it's in your mouth otherwise you end up with water spraying around  The colour and design of the device means it fits right in next to my electric tooth brush, and it charges using a shaver point connection which is convenient. Since receiving the irrigator its caught my wife's eye, thankfully a 2nd water jet head is included in the box so no doubt she will be using it over the forth coming days. Overall I would highly recommend the device; especially for people who are prone to getting food trapped in between their teeth.

I bought this as a replacement for the flower we previously bought (highly rated) from amazon - a make unknown to us) which failed after 5 months, couldn't be recharged and couldn't be repaired. I went for the special offer on this new Panasonic model having been impressed with the innovation and quality of other Panasonic products I've bought. I like it - it's light, effective and flowers quickly and with a much finer jet of water than the previous flosser. But there are some issues. The two of us can floss daily for 5-6 days before it needs recharging. Thanks to Panasonic supplying the model with just a shaving plug lead, the charging takes a good 17 hours. Many homes, including ours, don't have shaving sockets and so have to buy an adapter. The flosser nozzles feel cheap compared to our previous machine and are *ridiculously* hard to pull off the machine (with the back button pressed) when you've finished - it feels every time like you are going to break something, which I think is pretty unacceptable in a machine of this price. Overall we DO like it and I'm sure it'll be as reliable as Panasonic stuff usually is, but it wouldn't have been hard to have made this so much better. One final gripe: it's a new model and I can't yet register the guarantee because the model number isn't yet recognised. Again, something that should have been sorted before launching this on the market.

Great Improvement on my last purchase
18 January 2024

I had a Panasonic water pick some time ago, the batteries went and I replaced it with an alternative make. Now I'm back to Panasonic and I'm much more happy, the ergonomics of this are very good. The product works well but I tend to find that the water tank is a bit small and needs to be refilled a couple of times to get a good wash.I would like if the charging light went out when the battery was full and maybe flashed when it needs recharging. On the whole a great device and well worth the money.

Great value!
22 December 2023

I bought this to replace a similar device (different brand) which had failed. Design and “feel” is excellent. My initial impression was that the jet is less powerful than my previous device but it is very effective. As per other reviews, the water container is rather small which takes some getting use to. Overall excellent value.

Incredible machine - terrible support
19 June 2023

I have used this machine for 5 years and love it. My periodontal pockets went from 6 mm to 2mm and my dental hygienist couldn't believe it was from using this machine as I did nothing else differently.Yes, the machine is loud, but not unacceptably so.The problem is that the machine was sold in the US and is no longer sold here. It is internationally available with a "shaver plug" that happens to work in the US so you can still buy it internationally. However support and replacement nozzles are not available in the US and have to be ordered on Amazon at very high prices (four times as expensive as in Germany or Britain!).I would order this machine again because it does what it is supposed to do and has lasted well. Mouth feels great
5 January 2024

Asked for this for Christmas as my gums have been bad for years and using so many tooth interdental brushes. Gums have always bled quite a bit and did so for a while after using it but felt better after a couple of uses. Teeth and gums feel so clean and stay like it all day. Use it on setting 2 then moving up the pressure. Just wish the water lasted longer but quick enough to just refill. I had to use like warm water.

Panasonic EW1211 water flosser
6 August 2024

This is a nice flosser for anyone with sensitive teeth as not really powerful but enough if you have sensitivity or gum disease etc. lasts for about 2 weeks using twice a day from a full charge. Easy to charge overnight no problem. Always use warm water else it will hurt. How long it will last who knows but good so far. I had another one before this that was to powerful in another make and had to take back and this one is so much easier on gums and I like the thin nozzle too. Some are to thick. Refill about 3 times if want to wash and pulse but again not really a problem at all. Just have a bit of warm water in a jug and top up while flossing. All in all a good product.

Useful gadget for teeth

The item came well package and instructions were easy to understand. I was quite surprised how big it was to hold against an electric toothbrush and not sure how people with smaller hands would get on but I understand it needs to have room for the water compartment. It comes with 4 nozzles which is very handy for a family. The first time using was a not great as the water sprayed everywhere while trying to direct around my mouth and I was not that impressed as the water ran out very quickly. It does need to be used over the sink as the water does fill up in your mouth quickly but as it is waterproof I have found it easier to use in the shower and then I don`t have to worry about getting wet. I am impressed with the quality of the product and my teeth feel much cleaner, I will definitely be using in my daily routine. I was selected to test/review this product by Panasonic as part of the Panasonic review program.

Panasonic EW1411 Rechargeable Oral Irrigator. I was interested in this device because I have recurrent gum disease but because my teeth are very uneven I have to use several different sized interdental brushes and it's a faff. The device arrived in quite a chunky box - I think I was expecting something the size of an electric toothbrush. Delighted to see on the side of the box that it's recommended for teeth that have drifted together because that's another problem I have. Inside it was packed in moulded plastic which had ripped slightly - if I had to return it, I think I might have needed to reinforce it in some way. Inside it was packed in moulded plastic which had ripped slightly - if I had to return it, I think I might have needed to reinforce it in some way. The device itself is like a fat electric toothbrush, to accommodate a water tank and presumably a much bigger motor. It came with an instruction book, two nozzles (so another person can use it) a charging stand and screws to fasten the charging stand to the wall. The instructions are clear so it didn't take long to set it up and charge the battery. Because the red indicator light on the device doesn't change colour when it's fully charged I left it for longer than the 15 hours suggested - going on for 36 until I reread the instructions! Learning how to use it was fun. The instructions are very clear but because it's not a familiar process it's hard to get your head around it. If you have teeth that are in any way sensitive, use warm water the first time you try it and on the intermittent setting so you have longer to play around with it before the tank needs refilling. Expect lots of water everywhere and to have to play around with it for a while until you get the hang of it. I used You Tube - lots of very helpful videos there to help you. Now I have got the hang of it, it's great. Teeth are cleaner. Keep it in the kitchen because no spare sockets in the bathroom - use it after every meal, instead of toothpicks. I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program.

The DentaCare oral irrigator EW1211 is the compact complement to your oral hygiene regime. Its water jet loosens food residues from areas where even the best toothbrush can't reach and its gentle, massaging pressure promotes blood flow in the gums. A second pump provides the option of choosing between a powerful water jet and an air-water mixture for massaging. Stubborn food residues in the spaces between your teeth. That unclean feeling in your mouth. Does that sound familiar? Then the oral irrigator EW1211 is just what you need. It cleans the places your toothbrush can't reach. You'll be amazed what shows up, even after a thorough brushing. With a noticeably thorough water jet, the device removes food particles from between the teeth. This makes it suitable for looking after bridges, fixed braces and dentures. In addition to cleaning your teeth thoroughly, it also gently massages and cares for your gums. The EW1211 achieves its cleaning effect by means of a second pump, which enriches the water with extra oxygen. It features the option of choosing between a powerful water jet and a gentle air-water mixture for massaging. Another highlight of the EW1211 is its water tank. This is integrated into the compact housing to make efficient use of the space. It means that it hardly takes up any space in your bathroom.
