Given the length of time it takes to charge up a fully depleted DMW-BLK22 battery, approximately 75 minutes, this is pretty much a necessity unless you want to leave your camera plugged into an AC outlet to recharge your batteries. When I travel at the end of the day, I'll typically recharge my depleted batteries in the hotel room, while I am out doing either night street photography or just enjoying the local sights. Having a separate battery charger just makes so much more sense.

It works great to charge the batteries however where this product really shines is the ac adapter. I have not seen the block anywhere else and it’s the best block I’ve ever used, unless they changed it I would purchase just for the block.

I got this as a secondary charger so can get multiple batteries charged and ready to go. I don't trust plugging electronics like a camera directly in to wall outlet to charge battery. Only grip is a bit pricey

I don't like charging the battery inside the camera, so this is a must for me. The charging time is also shortened about 1 1/2 hours. It is expensive, but thank god for Payboo, at least I got a little discount.
This is OK for what it is. Not nearly as cool or useful as the Fujifilm dual charger, because the blinking light system is flawed and not helpful. But it still does the job.
This charger has USB-C port, lists multiple USB PD input voltages, and gives every indication that it should be compatible with standard USB PD chargers. But no, it only functions with the included, oversized power brick, which means you can only use it from an AC wall outlet, and not a battery bank or any other power sources. What a joke. It’s ridiculous that this costs $90 for how useless it is—maybe the only thing more ridiculous is that it wasn’t included with my S5iix camera. Sure, it does charge the battery with its included power brick. The only reason I might keep it is that I’ve heard it suggested that some 3rd party chargers have issues fully charging BLK22 packs.
Would not recognize nor charge any Panasonic or third party batteries. Charging lights never came on and therefore a defective product. There are too many individual pieces to this charging unit= AC plug and cable / AC adapter / AC cable to charging stand / charging stand. Unable to tell which component was failing. Not a good design.
This charger works well but it could be improved in two ways:- by having the transformer integrated in the charger block (just like the BCC12 battery charger);- or by having q product designed for any usb-c charging device. This is not the case here, if you don't use the transformer provided in package, the battery will never fully charge (green light stays on)
I have the G9 II and its internal battery is charged while in the camera. It is handy to have this battery charger so as to charge a second battery while the first battery is being used by the camera.The charger is a little expensive but worth having.
