The accessories, as in the nozzles and diffuser were an unexpected delight as the purple shiny colour stood out even more than in the photos. I have tried it twice now and used each of the nozzles and diffuser. All do as they say in the literature - full instructions of how to use and maintain the dryer are included. My hair is very fine and almost shoulder length and the dryer kept each hair separate, no chance of any clumping together or frizziness. The diffuser was a bit smaller than some I have had in the past but more efficient. The quick dry nozzle was really good and being able to change the heat settings and speed so easily with one hand, made it a much more pleasant experience than I have had before with any other dryer, which is very good especially if you have arthritis in your hands. The capability to have a shot of cool air at any time is good for when you want to be more particular in styling your hair. There is some maintenance to do which is clearly explained in the instructions, to keep it dust free. I I couldn't find anything negative to say about it as such, but would love to have a bag for it as that would keep it nice all of the time. I ust want to comment on the fine nozzle being slightly harder to detach from the main body of the dryer, than the other nozzles. In conclusion, this really is a lovely, very powerful, efficient hairdryer. I would certainly buy one if I hadn't now got one.

Blown away by Panasonic's NA65 hairdryer

I liked the matt black appearance and deep magenta colour of the attachments. It also has a long cord which is a must for me as I like to be able to stand up and move about whilst drying my hair. When I first used the hair dryer, I was blown away (excuse the pun). Normally I get so hot drying my hair (even on a low heat setting and stronger air flow) that I get it nearly dry and then leave it to finish drying naturally. The NA65 Hairdryer has four temperature settings (cool, healthy, warm, hot) and 3 air flow settings (set, dry, turbo). I found after experimenting that for me, using the 'healthy' and 'dry' settings, I could completely dry my hair in at least half the time I used to spend getting my hair nearly dry. So, great time saver and not getting all hot and bothered - yeahhh! But, more importantly, it left my hair feeling really soft and sleek and looking brighter. I really couldn't believe it. I also didn't use a brush but just finger dried my hair and it looked like I had been to the hair dresser and had it straightened. The next day I decided to try the diffuser (hadn't used one of these for years). I have a lot of hair so found that the deep prongs enabled me to easily fold in lots of

Much easier to brush. So, Nanoe technology definitely does work!It is also fairly quiet, even if its used at a maximum speed, much quieter, then my existing one. And it is pretty light too. The Styling Nozzle works well, the attachments are very easy to change and you could feel the quality - they are thick, sturdy and were not too hot to handle. Actually, you could feel the quality of this hairdryer as soon as you get a box, packaging is very good and the hairdryer feels very substantial in you hands. The Nanoe has 3 speed settings, 4 heat settings and a cool shot button, very easy to change in between them, which allows me to style my hair with ease. I tried a Diffuser and have to say, it is definitely makes my hair looks fuller, without teasing it at the roots, now it will be part of my daily routine to use the Diffuser first to lift my hair up at the roots and then finish drying with Quick Dry Nozzle,to get that fuller hair look. I also like the long cord, no more drying hair in the awkward position. All in all, the Panasonic Nanoe NA65 is an excellent hairdryer. Thank you, Panasonic, for such a well designed product.

In the box you'll find the Panasonic NA65 Nanoe hairdry, three attachments (a quick dry, set/flat & diffuser nozzles) and a small manual. The hairdryer has 4 temperature settings, 3 fan speeds & a cool-shot button. The chosen temperature is maintained when switching between the fan speeds. The three nozzles work well & the effective quick dry nozzle is the one I would use daily. The cord is long (2.7m) & the hairdryer has a hanging loop. The three nozzles work well & the effective quick dry nozzle is the one I would use daily. The cord is long (2.7m) & the hairdryer has a hanging loop. At the rear of the dryer there is a removable easy clean filter. For a hairdryer it is relatively quiet in operation. The Nanoe technology is suppose to infuse tiny nano water particles into your hair to maintain moisture, make hair easier to manage & improve appearance. This invisible nano stream of water particles is emitted from a small hole at the top of the hairdryer. I have long, thickish, dark hair. After using the Nanoe hairdryer for the first time I did notice there was less fray to my hair, was a bit smoother & had a bit more shine. My comb went through my hair a bit easier & overall my hair felt a bit more conditioned. Hence the Nanoe technology does seem to work & is not just a gimmick. However it should be noted that in the manual it does say that the effects of the nanoe technology might not be felt by certain people. Those with crimpy hair, strong curly hair, very smooth hair, short hair, or those who have had a hair straightening perm in the last 3 or 4 months. However should the nanoe not work for you I think this device would still function as a very good hairdryer. Some minor things I might want to change. A gloss or more durable finish, as the matt finish of the hairdryer marks fairly easily. The size, the dryer is not heavy (600g) but it is larger than what I am use to handling. And I think if the sliding switches where on the side or back of the handle it would be easier to switch settings during use. Note: I received this product from Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program.

First I would like to disclose that I received the Panasonic EH-NA65-K hand-held hair dryer with nanoe™ technology in exchange for my review.Being a man with average length hair, I am not the target audience for this particular product, but I have used a hair dryer on days I am leaving the house, for forty-plus years. I think that qualifies me to make a few observations based on past experiences.I have noticed in more than one place that this dryer is referred to as black/pink. The trim color looks red to me under “warm," incandescent light bulbs, but does have a slight pinkish hue in daylight from the window. I think that qualifies me to make a few observations based on past experiences.I have noticed in more than one place that this dryer is referred to as black/pink. The trim color looks red to me under “warm," incandescent light bulbs, but does have a slight pinkish hue in daylight from the window. The main body color is a matte black finish that gives the product an expensive look. While it does not have a cord reel, the long cord is nice to have especially if you are using the dryer someplace other than at a bathroom vanity. The dryer I was using before the Panasonic was delivered has a retractable cord and I do not especially care for it as I found the cord a little on the short side and I never retracted it anyway (it was a hand-me-down from my wife). The switches on the Panasonic for fan speed and air temperature while not Lexus-like in feel, do appear to be a little nicer than other hair dryers I have experienced. The three included accessories easily, but securely, snap on and off of the dryer’s nozzle. Overall, the product makes a good first impression, as it should considering the MSRP price point. The first thing I noticed about the Panasonic when I used it was that it is noticeably quieter than the dryer I was previously using. Since a hair dryer spends its working life about a foot from your head, I decided to round up all of the dryers I could find (current one, one from a suitcase, and one I took to work to remove stickers) and compare them with the Panasonic using a sound meter app on my phone. I will refer to them as A, B and C. Dryer A has two fan speeds, and it produced 80 and 91 decibels respectively at about 12 inches from my phone. Dryer B has three fan speeds that produce 76, 85, and 87 decibels. Dryer C has two fan speeds and produced 76 and 89 decibels. The Panasonic has two fan speeds and produced 72 and 81 decibels. In my opinion, a very noticeable, and welcomed difference in noise output.I then checked the heat produced at the nozzle using a hand-held, laser-aimed, infrared thermometer. I checked a few different spots at the nozzle exit and aimed from the side so that I wasn’t aiming directly at the heating coils. I also did not take measurements of the “cool” setting as that is just the fan blowing air without the heating elements running. All of these hair dryers claim 1875 watts of heating “power," so I kind of expected similar temperatures on their “high” heat settings. Dryer A has two heat settings and produces temperatures of 117 and 148 degrees Fahrenheit with the fan running on the low setting. Dryer B cannot adjust heat and fan settings separately and since it has three fan speeds, it has three heat settings also, producing 108, 125, and 157 degrees Fahrenheit. Dryer C (again separate speed and heat adjustability) produces 126 and 144 degrees, both while using low speed on the fan. The Panasonic EH-NA65-K with separately controlled fan speed and heat settings (in my opinion, the only correct way to make a hair dryer), produces 110 and 150 degrees Fahrenheit on the low fan speed. The last thing I could measure objectively was the weight of the hair dryers. This can make a difference for some people when they have to wave this thing around their head for 10 minutes or more if they have long, thick hair. Dryer A which happens to be an ionic dryer and the one with the retractable cord, weighs 1 pound 3 ounces. Dryers B and C which are bare-bones and inexpensive, weigh 13 ounces and 12 ounces respectively. The Panasonic which at first glance looks somewhat big and bulky, also weighs 1 pound 3 ounces. All weights were taken on an electronic, digital food scale with the cord supported so that it didn’t influence the measurement. I have also attached a picture of the four dryers to illustrate their relative dimensions.Would I recommend this hair dryer based on performance…absolutely. At this price…definitely not for everyone.

Quiet and effective

My wife and daughter both have long hair that is sometimes difficult to dry and this new unit from Panasonic has definitely made for an easier and faster drying process. The dryer itself is well balanced and made from a high quality matt finish plastic which is not slippery and should resist scratching. The included accessories (a splitter, diffuser, and directional nozzle) all attached securely with a click but are still easy enough to remove. My wife noted that the directional nozzle was prone to rotating if bumped hard enough with a hair brush while styling. There is an easy to clean filter on the intake end which is opened and secured with a latch.Operation is quiet and effective. There is an easy to clean filter on the intake end which is opened and secured with a latch.Operation is quiet and effective. After a week of use, drying time definitely appears to be much better than our previous dryer and even better than some salon units. Temperature control is excellent, with the hot setting sufficient for quick drying but not hot enough to be uncomfortable, even for my young daughter. The warm setting is a well controlled mid point between hot and cool. The "cool shot" button immediately cools the airflow. One of the big selling features is the "nanoe" air feature. This passes a certain amount of air through an electrical charge (and not over the heating elements) to maintain a higher level of moisture in the air mixture. I have no scientific way to measure this other than to say that after a week everybody is happy with how their hair feels after use. With a combination of good looks, solid construction, low noise, and excellent performance, this unit is easy to recommend.

Recommend for Innovative Nanoe Technology
29 January 2019

Panasonic is known for its electrostatic atomized water particle "Nanoe" technology that was originally developed in Japan. I was looking to purchase more sleek-looking NA-99 import but due to the voltage difference between Japan and the US, I opted for NA-65; a step-down model designed for entry US market. This is a great product if you understand the benefits of Nanoe and wish to invest in the outcome of healthy looks that are incredibly soft, smooth and shiny for days to last. I personally feel that Black, Asian and Hispanic people with medium to long hair with volume will most benefit from this product. If you are someone who has very little or fine/limp hair to work with, it would be difficult to see the benefits or live this through experience. I personally feel that Black, Asian and Hispanic people with medium to long hair with volume will most benefit from this product. If you are someone who has very little or fine/limp hair to work with, it would be difficult to see the benefits or live this through experience. As others have mentioned, it does feel a bit bulky in your hand and the esthetic appeal of this model is not so great but these cons can easily be outweighed by the amazing electrified water particles Nanoe produce which penetrates deep into your hair cuticles. The drying time is about the same as any other 1875 watt hair dryers I've used (Conair/Revlon ceramic). One thing well-worth mentioning, which was originally quoted by a friend who had recommended this product to me, was the fact that I stopped losing a lot of hair and now I can see much healthier hairs growing in the receding line where I used to not have any hair. Reduced one star for a high pitch noise I find very annoying when turned on. Your hand and running fingers will also be a bit sticky from the chemical reaction (but again, I'm happy with how my hair looks and my scalp feels at the end so I can overlook these minor flaws). Overall very satisfied and make sure you shop around because Best Buy does offer a price-match.

Softer/healthier hair - I would definitely buy this product

I was given this product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. I am delighted with this hairdryer and have seen a noticeable difference after use in that my hair feels softer and healthier. My hair is fair, straight, shoulder length and with highlights and maintaining my hair in good condition is important to me. The hairdryer is quiet and very easy to use with 3 detachable nozzles that fit firmly in place and it's also worth noting that the nozzles don't get too hot to handle when changing as has been the case with my previous hairdryer. The quick dry nozzle is a favourite, which I use to dry off my hair before styling with the concentrator nozzle. I'm not used to a diffuser, however, I've had a go at twisting my hair in sections before ... MoreI was given this product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. The quick dry nozzle is a favourite, which I use to dry off my hair before styling with the concentrator nozzle. I'm not used to a diffuser, however, I've had a go at twisting my hair in sections before drying and with a bit of practice I've achieved a different look with loose curls. A key feature for me is the luxury of having 3 heat settings and 3 speed settings allowing me to control the heat and airflow. In the past I have struggled to find a hairdryer that has a lower speed which in addition to the cool shot button I like to use to finish styling and add volume and a longer lasting hold. The packaging is stylish, with the features and benefits detailed including the nanoe technology, however, for me if purchasing in store I would be looking for the length of the power cord/cable which is a decent 2.7m long. The hairdryer comes in a matt black with raspberry detail/nozzles; these are definitely colours that appeal to me. The only reason that this product does not get 5 stars is that I find the hairdryer a little bulky to handle, however, the benefits of the nanoe technology, versatility of the speed/heat settings and ease/efficiency of use would make me want to buy/recommend this product.

First impressions. Well presented in box. Only a little lighter than my previous Remington hairdryer. Much more stylish. One of the main things I wanted was the nozzles not to fall off, which had been a source of constant annoyance with my old hairdryer. Success the attachments all clip on firmly and no risk of falling off mid drying. On use I chose the quick dry nozzle. I was skeptical at first as turned up to full it was still very quiet and did not sound very powerful. I was wrong. Initially it felt like it may take a while but it really was dry in around 5 minutes. And for the first time in a long time the back of my hair was dry too, previously I have always given up as the back always felt an endless task but not with this hairdryer. Overall very pleased. ... MoreFirst impressions. Well presented in box. Only a little lighter than my previous Remington hairdryer. Much more stylish. Panasonic is a known and trusted name for personal electronics. I've purchased and used a variety of this brand's devices over the years, and for the most part, have been quite satisfied. I have thick hair, and this has always been an issue for me with blow dryers. And even though the Panasonic nanoe has 3 heat and 2 speed settings, it wasn't necessary for me to use the high or hot settings to get the job done - low and warm worked just fine. Besides, less drying time and less heat, means less chance of damage to your hair.My experience with traditional blow dryers is that by the time I finally get my hair dried, my ears and scalp are super hot and feel like they're burnt. That didn't happen while using the Panasonic nanoe, and my hair didn't feel dried out at all. In fact, it felt softer and smoother. The three included attachments are more than adequate for drying and styling hair, and the 9 foot, heavy duty cord gives you plenty of slack to move around. This hair dryer is easy to grip in your hand, being well balanced and not too heavy or unwieldy. Plus, it's lovely to look at - sleek and modern. I'd even say this hair dryer would be well-suited for a professional stylist, too.Although the Panasonic nanoe Hair Dryer costs a bit more than what you'd pay for your standard blow dryer, it's well worth it in my view. Not only does it perform beautifully and is solidly made, but is sure to last you for years to come with proper handling and maintenance.#PanasonicBeauty
