I haven't actually used this yet .So the review is about the quality of the item !It's heavy ' great quality feel and everything you'd expect from such a great well known brand !However the plug on the charging unit is for Europe not the UK but this isn't really a problem if you want to use it straight out of the box ? Because it comes fully charged .It's just weird that a UK plug isn't fitted on a UK model .

It does what it says on the tin. Does not cut as deep as my philishave but then why such a close shave? It does the job and because the cut is not excessively close, I no longer need any cologne and it no longer gives me skin abrasions. The charging is a bit long though but what do you expect for the price. It was new I have to admit and everything was properly sealed. Cannot buy a used shaver [which some sell] as you can catch aids, Hepatitis and herpes plus all sorts of very bad diseases. Never buy a used shaver no matter how cheap. This is the perfect buy for the price and I have always trusted a Panasonic.

I have sensitive skin, I have wet shaved all my life. I am getting older and I am cutting my self more. I have tried electric razors in the past, but without success, I was left with redness and a burning sensation on my neck. This razor leaves very little discomfort. I also like the convenience of a dry shave and no cuts, this is great.

Lightweight shaver but does all the things bigger (and more expensive) shavers do. Very impressed. It was bought to replace another Panasonic where the foil had been damaged and when I had recovered from finding out the cost of a replacement foil I bought this instead. It has a docking charger as well which I find very convenient. All in all, a good buy. And the service was excellent.

I used my previous Panasonic regularly as a wet shaver. They really do give a stunning finish. The Milano ES-SL41-A511 has 3-Blade system compared to my old model's 4-Blade system. There is no difference in the foil design or lift blade design, just one less foil in the shave head. The ES-SL41-A511 has a flip up trimmer, plus an innovative newer feature of a flip out water gate just at one side ofthe shave head base. The idea is that water shoots out straight out of the side of the shave head thereby avoiding water build up around the cutters and below the foils. It works very well. I tried it out when cleaning the shave head. Panasonic say that this model is shower safe. I haven't used this model in the shower yet, but experience of my last two Panasonic shavers in the past tells me that this model will be shower safe. Where this model saves on price is by omitting features like: 1) No tilt feature on the shave head 2) No battery power indicator LED's What I can say is this. I have not missed the tilt feature on my last model. I have not missed the bigger battery giving an few hours run time. But for me, I have noticed a much easier shave around my jaw line, under my bottom lip and under my nose, simply because this model is so much more agile around my face with its smaller 3-Blade shave head, than the larger 4-Blade shave head on my old ES-RF31. If you are not looking for all the bells and whistles from an electric shaver then this is a great shaver to consider with proven Panasonic build quality, reliability and a close shave like nothing else on the electric shaver market. This model will shave you just as close as the top model Panasonic, but without the bulk and some of the features. A great choice!
I've never tried a Panasonic shaver before but I'll be having another one in future. The build quality is excellent & for a machine that has a 1.5V motor the power is quite astonishing. It is small & handy--comes apart for cleaning easily & is very easily cleaned. Above all it gives me a very clean comfortable shave. I'm going to try it in the shower some day just to see if it is as comfortable wet as dry. Excellent DT
My old Remington is struggling. Thought I would try a cheaper new razor. Good points: It does shave you, eventually. Rechargeable Light. Not so good: Sooo slooow to do the job When charging it is hours and hours and no way of knowing if it has finished charging! Not really a sturdy man's razor.
I have has a lot of foil razors over the years, but this relatively very cheap shaver is one of the best i have ever used. its cuts very smoothly and close. its far better than the Panasonic i had previously which had a new foil and blade but still took ages to cut smooth. These shavers can go up to 100 plus but for 30 for this shaver, i doubt i would get a better shave than with this razor which i totally recommend. if you get 6 months out of it on a daily shave then you could either replace the blade or opt to just buy a new one which is what i wil be doing. A very good product that works excellently
It cuts just as close as my fancy Braun. Bought this as the whole shaver was 30% cheaper than a foil head for the Braun. Cuts slower than the Braun, but just as well. It's far quieter and lighter in your hand. If it lasts 6 months, just replace with a new one. Like owning an electric desposable toothbrush. comes with nice recharge stn and plastic travel shield which can support in an upright position. Build quality very good. Even has a brush to clean. Bargain
I looked at several wet/dry shavers and have always been impressed with the Panasonic brand. The model I wanted had sold out so I opted for this at a much lower cost, and wow - it's amazing! The shaver works great and gives an incredibly close shave. I've yet to use it as a 'dry' shaver but the results I've had so far have exceeded my expectations. I've not used a bladed razor since owning this.
