As long-time beard owner, I came across the Panasonic MultiShape after looking at options to replace my aging hair clippers I use to maintain the length of my beard. For me, the main appeal of the MultiShape is its multi-functional design, allowing me to phase out using multiple hair trimming devices, replacing them with one device and several attachments. Less devices means less charging and less clutter.I purchased the ER-CKL2 kit which includes: the main unit (ER-CBL1), the beard/hair/body trimmer head (ER-CTW1), four trimmer guards, a cleaning brush and lubricating oil. One design drawback is the legibility of the markings on the adjustment ring of ER-CTW1 with the lack of contrast making them difficult to read.Functionality-wise, the MultiShape is as simple as it needs to be, with a single on/off button on the main unit along with a charging indicator light. The fine adjustment ring for the ER-CTW1 is very tactile, however, attaching the different trimmer guards does take a little practice getting them to align with the slots on the attachment. Removing attachments from the main unit is an easy button push and pull-apart action, and reattachment feels solid and doesn’t require fiddly alignment.The cut and trim of the ER-CTW1 attachment is clean and comfortable. For finer beard-work such as moustache trimming and outlining your cheeks you’ll probably prefer to use the beard/hair trimmer head (ER-CTN1) with its narrower head and finer blades.Maintaining the MultiShape is as simple as rinsing it under the tap given each component has an IPX7 waterproof rating. Removing the blade component of the ER-CTW1 attachment is an easy push-apart action that can be done with one hand—no need to pinch or press buttons. The MultiShape is also suitable for wet trimming in the shower, though this is not part of my routine.Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and functionality of the Panasonic MultiShape, and I hope to acquire additional attachments in the near future.

The Panasonic ER-CKL2 has Great features with all the different attachments. Unfortunately they are sold separately so it's abit expensive to buy all of them.

Only used it once, it cuts hair. Would’ve given 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper. $200 for this does seem a bio t exxy. Love Panasonic products though.
I bought this for my son as he is special needs son because he can only use an electric toothbrush and shaver so to have it in one he can use this perfectly and its easier for him! Love this product

I bought this product with the intention of using it in just my beard, but I have now tried it on body hair and it has been life changing.
