When there are more humans in the room, it will somehow know that and run harder- When no one is around, it just goes it a low power mode by itself. I think it does this by sensing the amount of small particles in the air.Smooth outer facade does not attract dust.Just an excellent machine all around.

I bought this product and covid didn't like it. Although they/them asked me to remove the Panasonic nanoe™ X 95m² Air Purifier, I went forth and kept it inside my 2x8m shipping container. Covid now lives outside. Naughty.
Purifier does a great job of cleaning the air, but the auto mode appears tuned for major bushfires only (none yet experienced) - even when gases are detected along a triple digit pm2.5, it refuses to up the fan to high. So you'll end up manually adjusting the fan when needed; it truly needs an "Auto Medium/High" to go with the "Auto Ultra Low" it appears shipped with. (It just says "Auto", that's my description). Bought at 40% off, so I'm overall happy - would choose a different unit at full price.
Highly impressive, accurate assessment of the air quality; can adjust the airflow manually. My husband, who is asthmatic, has not coughed at night at all since using this purifier.
I recently rented an old unit with new carpet and wall painted, and I noticed the smell on the cupboard and door and door frame lingered around, although the paint on the wall almost all gone, I decided the delay in move in, as I have a young child. After trying charcoal, double strength vinegar, and 24 hours ventilation with the windows opened and fans on, the smell was getting better, but was still there… Then I purchased this product and tried on ! After 20mins or so, I can not smell any more of the pain odour!Work like a charm !Thank you
