Pantene Pro-V Gold Series Intense Hydrating Oil Treatment, 3.2 fl oz

I started using the Pantene Gold Series line of products for my naturally curly hair this summer after cutting off my that 5” of damage and deciding to wear it in natural styles more often than damaging daily heat styles. The Intense Hydrating Oil is one of the first products I began using in the line. However, I use it more sparingly on dry hair as it is a rather heavy oil “serum” that can weigh hair down when used in excess. I personally love this hair product and use it often. It smells like Victoria Secret Love Spell body spray. I purchased it at an East coast Target store for $7.99. It is a product I definitely recommend.

Really good hair oil. Leave your hair smelling amazing and looking very sleek and shiny. I have processed/damaged wavy-curly shoulder-length hair and usually use a pump and a half on my wet hair, but you can definitely use less or more. It’s thick and nourishing but it isn’t one of those oils you need to watch out for - it’s going to take a LOT to make your hair look greasy, because your hair will drink it up. It’s the only product I currently use on my hair so that’s why I use a little more than perhaps the average, but I’m going on 5 months now of everyday use and we’re still going strong. Same bottle - so it’s a very good value. Will be purchasing again.

I dislike Pantene products, so I was reluctant to try this at first, but I am so glad I gave it a shot! It has become one of my favorite daily hair oils! Beautiful scent, lightweight if use sparingly, very hydrating, leaves behind a beautiful natural looking shine, I truly believe it has strengthened my hair! Since starting my natural hair journey, I’ve seen major improvements in the health strength of my hair, especially while using this product. I use only 2 pumps on damp clean hair, it leaves my hair so soft manageable, while smelling delicious. Seen so much less breakage since I started using almost 3 months ago. Highly recommend, especially for dry or textured hair types.

A little goes a long way

This oil should be used sparingly . I add a drop to the palm of my hand, rub it together and grab the outside of my hair. It really tames those flyaways. I also love the way my hands feel afterwards. Great for the skin.

Best I've Ever Used

This line is the best I've ever used. As long as the formulas stay the same I will always use Pantene Gold series. I have relaxed bra strap length hair and the shampoo, conditioner, leave on detangling milk and hair oil are all I need for soft, flowy, shiny, hair. I wash my hair once per week and only have to remoisturize once midweek with a small amount of leave on detangling milk and oil. If you're looking for moisturized hair that is not heavy look no further. I can't believe I've been able to reduce my hair arsenal to only 4 products. It has taken me YEARS to find the right products for my hair. Thank you, Pantene!

Great Product

I colour my hair often and recently my hair has been feeling horrendously dry, brittle with a lot of breakage. I’m currently giving my hair a break and this serum has been a godsend. It makes my curly hair so soft and silky and my hair is no longer brittle and dry. I apply this whilst my hair is slightly damp and I also use a curl cream and seal with a gel and then twist my hair at night. My curls last all week and it doesn’t look dry and horrid. I really recommend this product for anyone who is struggling with dry brittle hair. This will be a staple in my hair care routine. I must admit though the bottle ran out extremely quickly so it could be expensive to keep purchasing often. However a little goes a long way - maybe I was a little over zealous using this lol

Nice shine!

I just started using this oil with the same brand shampoo-I really am pleased with results. I have searched for something reasonably priced with no sulfates and this is the combo. In this photo, I washed my hair the day before and used the oil. This morning, I spritzed my hair with light water -drew my fingers through and applied oil! Perfect! Remember to rub the oil throughly before applying. My hair is course and wavy.

Smells amazing!

I think several of us agree based on the reviews I’ve read myself that this product smells amazing! I have very fine thin hair and my daughter has thicker more coily hair, and we both use and love this oil. It’s not too heavy for my hair type, but i don’t need to apply it daily. My daughter adds about a quarter size through her hair a few times a week, and it’s done wonders for her hair keeping it moisturized without all the build up compared to other products we’ve used.
