Pantene Pro-V Gold Series Moisture Boost Shampoo, 9.1 fl oz

The absolute best hands down. Growing up I would use the Pantene in the brown bottle and as I got old got caught up in the other brands due to “popularity.” I recently dyed my hair back blonde and I normally go to the salon twice a month for it to be done, but in between I try to wash my own hair, but haven’t found that right product. I’ve always wanted to try the gold series line of Pantene so today was that day. Just as it says will happen it INSTANTLY SOFTENS your hair it did exactly that as soon as I applied the product. I am so in love with this the shampoo and conditioner I can’t wait to flat iron my hair to use the instant nourishing spray. I was hesitant to get the thermal heat protector, but I will definitely be going to buy it tomorrow.

This product I used on my youngest daughter for about 2 solid years. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that it lived up to its description. She has very dry course curly hair. (She is mixed Afr.Amcn/Hispanic) this most definitely put so much hydration and left it with a beautiful shine and fragrance!. I also use the conditioner as well. Ive spent hundred hundreds of 🏧$ on product some drug store some salon. This was the first that startedmy search for other products in the Pantene family. Is highly recommend you folks give them a try they have some SERIOUSLY GREAT PRODUCTS THAT ARE TRIES IN TRUE OVER THE YEARS. I really enjoyed this shampoo! It really gets the scalp clean without drying the hair out. I’ve been using this for almost 6 months with conjunction of some other products from this line. My hair has since grown 2 inches, much less breakage, most of all, feels much stronger. Is this shampoo moisturizing? No, but I feel like it’s less stripping than most. I only gave 4 stars because this shampoo is made for textured hair types, and I don’t see how this could work for all textured hair types; may be too stripping for really curly/coily hair. Nonetheless, I’ve been enjoying it for my dry, wavy hair. Would recommend for dry, wavy, and some curly hair types.

AMAZING

I usually don’t leave five star reviews for shampoos but for this it was worth it. It cleansed my hair and scalp well but the lather feels soft and luxurious. My 4b/c hair didn’t feel tangled after rinsing it out and felt softer. The smell is amazing too.

Holy Grail

I am a 3c/4a. Hair is worn out by color and flat iron. I normally wear my natural curls in fall/winter to let it breath a lil and I'm now thinking about letting the color grow out. I have tried Shea Moisture, Mielle, & Maine Choice Shampoo and Conditioners. Shampoo is the hardest to find that makes my hair soft and manageable. BUT THIS. My hair was soft, and clean with great lather. The smell was great. The conditioner was great also. I think I've finally found a winner for my hair.

Love this product

I forgot I bought this and ended up with a big bulk version of shampoo in another brand. I figured I'd use this smaller bottle first, and I was pleasantly surprised by the scent. I got it because it was Pantene and for my hair type, but I didn't pay attention to the fragrance. My gawd, this smells amazing. I'm going to reorder it. I'll probably never get through those bulk bottles because I want my hair to smell like this!

My ends loved this, my scalp didn't

That's an odd one. A friend gifted it to me without having tried it herself. I decided to give it a go due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I used it for a month. The first time I used it if left my hair looking better than it'd ever looked. My hair is 3'5", normal, thick, wavy, and extremely prone to tangling. This shampoo not only detangled and left it soft, but also made it shiny and defined my waves beautifully. I was so extatic. However, a couple of hours after my shower, I started noticing an itch on my scalp. My scalp was even itchier the next day. I gave it a couple of weeks of this happening - my scalp was now definitely very dry, flaky, and nearly constantly itchy. This had never happened before, even with the cheapest shampoos I'd used. I'm a double washer, so I decided to switch to washing my hair only once per shower thinking it'd change something. It didn't. My scalp started overproducing sebum to compensate for the dryness. It ended up feeling constantly dirty and itchy, and permanently flaky, even when the rest of my hair was looking and feeling good. I've now gotten back to good old Elvive Dream Lengths which will hopefully bring back some moisture to my scalp.

Pantene Isn't Awful Anymore! Best in Hydration, Shine, and Restoration

In my opinion, Pantene has been a horrible excuse for an industry-standard brand. Their basic old-school formulas leave film on your hair and simply don't work. However, the Pantene Gold Series, sulfate free, is quite possibly the best line of products on the market for hydration, shine, and restoration of hair. The detangling milk is the best anti-frizz detangler shine-inducing product on the market. I am so impressed with Pantene Gold Series that I will clear any store out of the kits and give them as gifts. I am often met with women and men who have had the same amazing results. Use any one of the Pantene Gold Series Products and in some way, you will have restored your hair.

Unexpected hair growth...

This made my slowly thinning hair in the front area much thicker. The funny thing I did purchase for hair growth. I just wanted sulfate free for black hair. I used to relax my hair and it was down to my lower back....but chopped it off and now it’s buzzed. It was when I first buzzed it (March ‘19) that I noticed the top center of scalp much thinner than the rest of my head. I always had dense hair...in fact too dense so I relaxed to “control” the density. After awhile I was too much effort and CHEMICALS!....Anyway..I wouldlove to provide photos for before and after BUT as I mentioned I had no idea it would impact my thinning area.
