On the website these oyster crushed velvet curtains looked absolutely beautiful, and in real life they are too.But I knew I needed two and a half inches taken off them so I left them in the original wrap bag they came in, it is transparent so you can see the beauty of the curtains.I’ve only just got round to collecting them from the Tailors to find they are not the same in colour. Each curtain, though beautiful, aren’t the same shade and now I’ve hung them it’s really obvious.I regret not taking them out of the wrap bag before taking them to be tailored.I’m so so disappointed. I recently bought these teal crushed velvet curtains for my small bedroom and oh boy are they a statement maker. They’re GORGEOUS, absolutely BEAUTIFUL, stunning.I would have took a picture but I’m in the middle of decoratingI didn’t know TEAL could be such an amazing colour.Wow!Dunelm you NEVER fail to succeed.The colour is so vibrant and lovely, I honestly can’t get over them. I can’t wait to finish the decorating!!!!!!!!Thanks Dunem

Bought these in the dark green and the colour is so rich, they look amazing with all the other greens in the room. Yes they were creased a bit, you expect that when they have been folded, but I haven't ironed them, I have hung them up and I will eventually steam any creases that don't drop out naturally. The few creases are not noticeable unless you're standing looking at them from a few feet away. I love them. Fabric is aoft and hangs lovely. They're not lined but what do you want for the price? A great pair of curtains for the price!!
Curtains were the perfect colour , unfortunately the lining was sewn in squint so didn’t sit well. As I live 100mes from dunelm ….. I unpicked them and fixed the problem. Was more economical than driving to my nearest dunelm. That’s why I’ve only given 3 stars. What happened to quality control?
Very happy with these. The material is beautifully soft and has a lovely velvet look. And they really block out the light. They are a bit lighter in colour than I was expecting - would say silver rather than charcoal, but with a nice variation due to the velvet look. But they really do cut out the light. The weight is nice, not too light but also not too thick and heavy. In time they will probably hang more evenly than in the photos - I haven’t ironed them or anything as yet.
I bought three pairs of these Curtains as they looked lovely on the Website. Once unpacked and hung up i quickly realised that they were not as good as I thought. The Hems were so uneven and poorly stitched. The drop should have been 54” but one side of the Curtain was under 53” and the other just over, so came up too short at my Window. The uneven Hems looked awful whether the Curtains were drawn or closed. The general quality and thickness of them was also very poor.Would definitely not recommend.
Both pairs of curtains I purchased were uneven in length, looked terrible when hung up. Even replacements I received were uneven. As these were the colour I needed for bedroom I ended up paying someone to turn them up correctly. A shame that there’s no quality control to check on the lengths!! Overall the material was good, just the length of each curtain wrong, more of a person error!!
I recently purchased these crushed velvet eyelet curtains and I must say, they do not disappoint.They’ve freshened up my living room and fit in perfectly with the decor .They hang well and the material is of good quality.The oyster cream colour is so luxurious and I reckon would fit with most decors.Sometimes when I order online, things I buy are different to the pictures, but these hanging beauties are exactly as shown and I’ll remember that when I need to order some more for other rooms.At least with them being exactly as shown on the picture, I know what I’m definitely going to receive in my parcel. Absolutely gorgeous curtains! Gorgeous feel and gorgeous look. The only downside for me is that I ordered the oyster colour curtains and when the curtains are closed they give off an orange glow. But they are open most of the time during daylight so that is minor. With a little extra lining or a different color lining to brown, they would have been perfect. However they give a really expensive look to the room and feel very well made. I am very happy with my purchase.
