Absolutely amazing!

I absolutely love this product and it's become such a staple in my skincare routine. I was recommended this by a customer I was serving and it's honestly the best lip balm I've tried! It's papaya scented but I honestly cannot pick up any smell from this (which could be a good or bad thing for some people). I just love how moisturising it is, the handy tube it comes in, you get a lot of product and it's so versatile! Can't recommend this enough if you have dry lips or even small dry patches of skin. I've got all my family hooked on this so you won't be disappointed. And it's definitely worth the extra bit of money than an alternative such as Vaseline.

I have been looking for a good lip balm for years. I have tried nearly every balm in boots - and even forked out for the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, which I had high hopes for. I found all of these alternatives to be ultimately ineffective; they left my lips feeling good initially, but dryer in the long term triggering a dependency on them. Paw paw has been my saviour! Tasteless, colourless and most importantly provides such long-lasting hydration.

Being a bit of a product junkie I am always on the look out for shiny new products well I won't be looking for another balm! Having tried more expensive high end balms I can honestly say this is the best. I recently has a strange outbreak in my skin, almost slightly burnt but itched like mad and was sore when anything was applied. The doctor prescribed me something, the chemist advised but nothing worked so I just stuck the pawpaw on one night and it soothed the outbreak and stopped the itching!! Apart from this it is so versatile, I use on my eyebrows lips, cuticle, hands and my four year old!! Amazing! Please don't stop stocking it Boots!

Great for minor burns
10 August 2015

I used this product initially after burning a large egg sized patch of my upper arm, from about 24 hours after the accident. I was incredibly impressed that the stinging was relieved pretty much immediately. Then after constantly keeping a layer of the ointment over the area until it had cleared up, I was so happy that there was no scarring left behind (especially as it was the height of summer!).Since then, I've used it for the numerous times that I seem to catch my hands on the oven shelves, always with the same great result.Would thoroughly recommend this for minor burns.

Horrible stuff
6 March 2018

Essentially just runny, overpriced Vaseline in a tube. There doesn't seem to be any benefit to the honey, bees wax or papaya, my lips are still dry as the petroleum jelly is unable to moisturise skin, it just forms a greasy barrier on top of it. What's worse is I've had this product a few weeks now and the consistency has changed into an oily liquid mess which gets everywhere and smells horrid. Really quite gross. Definitely wouldn't recommend, like Vaseline it might make your lips look better in the short-run but in the long-run it just makes them more chapped.

Papaya Gold Paw Paw
22 November 2015

I absolutely love this product. I have been using it for about 2 years now. I suffer from urticaria (hives), this causes very dry red itchy skin, mainly on my face and neck and all other creams and gels, even the ones on prescription, did not help. I tried Paw Paw and it soothes and calms down the rash. Even when the rash has gone I still use the gel daily as it is so good for my skin. I used to buy expensive moisturisers but the Paw Paw is so much better and keeps my skin hydrated. I would highly recommend this product, especially if you suffer from dry skin.

The only lipbalm I use...
28 May 2018

I’ve been using this for dry lips for about a year and a half and I’ve been tempted in by other lip products along the way.. but everything else disappoints and I always end up going back to this. I suffer from really, really (really!) dry lips AND horrible cold sores. I swear, this is the only product I can use that actually softens my lips and (touch wood!) I have been having significantly less cold sore breakouts since I started using it. One tube has lasted a year so it’s amazing value for money. I can’t recommend this highly enough... i love me some paw paw! For those that say it’s a glorified Vaseline - well, Vaseline does nothing for my lips and this does, so I beg to differ!

This is a miracle cream !!!
8 January 2016

This is a miracle cream which uses are only limited by your imagination. We have used it on cuts, abrasions, blisters, rashes, pimples, excmea, cold sore blisters, tinnea, mozzie bites, sunburn and even nail fungus with amazing results. Not only does it take away pain and heals quickly it also halves the size and intensity of cold sore blisters. After finding this cream I have not needed any other medicated cream. It is fantastic and i highly recommend it I never would be with out it !!!

Very handy

This product's versatility is what sets it apart, it has so many uses which makes it the perfect thing to pack for holidays to save on some room. I have extremely sensitive skin and patches of eczema and this works wonders to soften and sooth. It works well for chapped lips too. I occasionally get patches of dry skin under my eyes and this moisturizes and soothes the delicate skin in that area with no irritation. Its perfect for summer again in that it makes the perfect foot treatment or can be used for softening the knees and elbows prior to self tan application. Got really dry shins? mix a squirt of this in with your normal moisturizer for a really rich skin treat. Despite being so gentle this smells deliciously fruity. This is good but unfortunately not as good as Lucas, so guess Im back to ordering on Amazon. If youre unsure though, use this as chapstick - it will change your life (I used to have to reapply throughout the day or my lips felt dry and paw paw ointment totally changed that for me). Also handy to have for cuts etc
