I've loved Paper Mate ballpoint's since I was a kid! And unlike SO, SO many things that have somehow stuck around the last 40-something (eek!) years, the quality has maintained and even improved with these ballpoint medium pens. They are so smooth. No gaps in lines or anything wonky with my usage. I just love they way they feel, and also, how they magically circulate around my house, car, office, etc. I buy a box and within a month they seem to always been in sight! No matter where I am, I always spot one and it's my first reach. thanks for making such great writing utensils.

I prefer pens that do not have rubberized grip portions on them, so these fit the bill well. Exceptionally good price; on sale. Not sure how long they'll last, but that mystery will unfold with time. Paper Mate does provide us some very good products.

This is my first time using these particular pens. The shape itself is smooth, easy to grip and comfortable to hold for long periods of time. I will say that these pens sometimes don't have the smoothest start, as it takes a little coaxing to get them going at first. However, once they start there's no stopping them - smooth, consistent writing from there on out. I really like these, and would recommend.
Working with individuals we often are filling out forms that the individual has to fill out. To keep the pens from being distinguished I bought these. They don't smear, write great and was about 10 cent per pen. At the end of the day I use an alcohol swab and get them ready for the next day.
These pens were put right to work when they were received. They are exactly what we wanted - great quality pens in a medium point with black ink. The size of the pen is perfect for gripping and being a left-handed person it's always a bonus when ink from your pen doesn't smear across the page as you write. There is absolutely no smearing and the ink comes out nice and smooth without any of the little open spots you sometimes get out of a lesser quality pen. I've been really impressed with these pens and plan to keep a box of them around as my go-to writing utensils!
I started using these pens almost ten years ago, and don’t like others since these spoiled me. My last pen ran dry a few days ago and the new ones I ordered came soon after. I love these pens! They write with a fine line so I can write small and it’s still legible. They last a long time. I have them in blue and black.
I have always been a sucker for a good writing pen. I love these pens. They don’t bleed and I love how smooth they are when writing. The lead is fine and allows me to write really small when necessary. I’ve discovered that these pens come in different colors and I’ve purchased all of them. The Paper Mate Joy ballpoint pen has definitely become one of my favorite writing utensils.
I have been using Paper Mate InkJoy 50ST Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point, 1.0mm, Black, 12/Pack at work since that is where I write the most and these are great pens for my needs at an automotive dealership. I write on a lot of carbon copies and these pens do not require a lot of hard pushing down on paper to truly work. They also seem to work great for the customers who sign copies of their credit card receipts as some pens do not work well on this type of paper. Overall, this is great for general use in most places I need it. However, I wish the pen were a little bit more comfortable to grip. Thank you Try It Sampling, I received these for my honest review.
I went through this entire box of 12 Papermate Ink Joy pens in 2 months. I thought maybe the first one was defective when it constantly skipped when writing, so I throw it away and got out another one. That wrote for about 3 days and the ink got extremely light and I would have to bang it on the side of my desk for it to write another few more words. This continued through the entire box. I will stick to the BIC pens a box would last me over a year.
