These pens are the worst. Randomly, as I'm writing, there is no ink coming out. I have to get it flowing again on another piece of paper then retrace what I wrote. This happens with all of the pens in the package and my husband has experienced it as well. I'm frustrated enough that I actually took time out to write this review about a package of ballpoint pens. I'll be throwing these away and buying a different brand.

I know I'm just writing about a pack of pens but I enjoy when I find one that creates consistency and easy to grip like these. This pen has a nice comfort level to it and once you put the pen to the paper the ink comes flowing out evenly with every letter. I really needed some for work so being that this comes in a pack of sixteen I won't have to worry about running out anytime soon. Plus I usually try to keep a few in my apron while at work at all times so I'm always prepared to take an order in a professional manner. I find I use the clip alot since it's extremely useful. These are the best pens among the three sets I bought last week. They start writing immediately, and they have the old-style click once to write, once more to retract, alternating. Some other pens being sold use a different mechanism, and I have to think about how to get the point to retract.These started writing immediately, retracted easily and have no glitches as far as I can tell.Love 'em.

These are not writing instruments. Cheap pens; expensive coffee stirrersTried the first one and after I'd gone about an inch it quit writing. Figured it just needed a little priming so made some squiggles to get it going again. Same thing. Wouldn't go more than about an inch. The Paper Mate InkJoy Retractable Ballpoint Pen is an okay pen for everyday writing. The outer barrel while made of fairly cheap transparent plastic has ridges which makes the pen easier to hold and control. The button to retract the ballpoint has a good amount of resistance to it. Also, the pocket clip feels quite cheap, but it's good enough for my needs.All in all, while not terrible, this InkJoy pen from Paper Mate is nothing to write home about (pun intended). It certainly does its job and it's good to keep on hand as an everyday disposable writing instrument where you won't feel guilty about losing it.
They write well smooth. Worth for the price, comes with a good combination of colors. I cannot predict how much you can write with these pens, as I cannot see the ink level inside, yet I hope it will write a lot. I bought this product just 2 weeks ago.
The Paper mate inkjoy gel pens are really fun to use. I loved the vibrant colors. They are great to color with or just to add pizzazz to any notes or crafts. The ink dried very fast so need to worry about smearing your creations. The casings are sturdy and well built.
In our house, we go through a lot of pens. I like to make lists every single day, daily reminders and such. My fianc writes for his radio show and writes sports stuff and stats. These pens, offer effortless writing. Requires minimal pressure and has a comfort rubber grip. The lines are smooth and my hands dont cramp up while using them.

I find that make your writing look more creative and detailed than a normal pen. I often find myself lost if I dont have a gel pen and my penmanship often distorted with out a gel pen. I bought this pen on a rainy afternoon, in mid December 2022, ever since that fateful day i have looked forward to writing with this utensil every single day. it has fixed many problems in my life including, signing my divorce papers and approving my kids being sent to the military. such a pleasure to use. 5 stars.
