This was a fragrance that, on the very first whiff of the opening, I couldn’t stand. But whatever, I had sprayed it on my skin and so I decided to go along with it. But what happened after the first 5-10 minutes just changed my mind forever about this fragrance. This is an absolutely delectable fragrance. That almond note is just gorgeous and something that I think is very unique to this fragrance.So if you ever try this fragrance, don’t be turned off by the opening which can be quite pungent. Let the dry down do it’s work and the sillage and projection will speak for itself. Forever a favourite from the house.
This is my favorite Oud Fragrance. I find this to be a pretty easy wearing Oud. The main notes that I get are Almond,Vanilla and Oud. Nicely blended and the Oud doesnt overpower the the rest of the notes. It might not be for everyone but I really enjoy it. Probably for a bit more mature crowd. I wouldnt really imagine the younger crowd flocking to this.
My equal favourite PDM fragrance along with Layton Exclusif. This is easily a safe fall and winter blind buy, you might be able to get away with this in an office environment. I'd also say it's a safe blind buy, lasts for 10 to 12 hours, first 6 hours at least have a 2 foot projection and after that it's still a solid foot for the rest of the 12 hour window.Love all the notes!!!
The scent is not bad with a vanilla spice note to it but the base has a strong smoky gasoline smell to it. Its a Parfum so its pretty strong! Not sure if I like the base so this is going to be returned back to Costco. Was $249 plus tax.
I LOVE pegasus, I thought I would love the exlusif version. I like this, I really really like it. It is darker, smokier and woodier while still keeping some of the floral notes. However this feels like a departure from Pegasus rather than an improvement. Still a great fragrance but not worth the mark up.
The atomizer (sprayer) and collar are not securely fastened to the bottle. When I remove the cap, both the collar and the sprayer fall off the bottle. Poor quality. I have many bottles of PDM, and none of them are this poor. When one thinks of PDM, one thinks of quality. That is not the case with this particular bottle.
