I purchased the torque wrench specifically for the crank bolts on my coupled tandem. Having used Park tools many times in the past, I expected and received first class performance. This wrench was very easy to use and performed flawlessly.

I didn't use torque wrenches previously. I really like this tool because I don't believe a home mechanic can always go "by feel" on all parts--esp. on higher torque settings. For instance I recently replaced an Octalink bottom bracket and getting into the Shimano recommended torque range felt like it was far higher than what I would have done without using the torque wrench. Ditto on disk brake rotors, etc. This particular wrench is for the higher settings you'll deal with. It's very easy to set ranges and the tool is elegant in appearance and feels good in the hand. Comes with a nice case. I hope to pass this onto my son at some point.

I bought some carbon wheels so decided that I'd have a go at building them myself. The Shimano brake rotors and cassette are secured using their Center lock system. My existing torque wrench didn't go up to the required 40Nm, so I purchased the FR-5GT Shimano locking tool and the TW-6.2 torque wrench which got the job done nicely.I particularly like the easy to read scale, which makes setting it much easier.I'm sure that some will say I could have got a cheaper one from Amazon, but I'm happy to pay for quality tools with a company that will back them up. I can also make use of this torque wrench for working on my motorcycle.

Wrench arrived with t.orque set to about 35Nm, it should be stored at zero - not happy about that. How long was it at 35Nm? Should calibration be checked? Wrench does not have the "snap" and loud click that other wrenches do. I choose this because it measures torque for both right and left threaded bolts and my satisfaction with other Park tools. If I were to do again I would not buy "open box". Communication and shipping time were good.
I tested mine with a digital torque meter at 10, 20, 30 Nm. It was always accurate within +/- 0.5 Nm. I'm very pleased with that.Tip, you should always place your hand on the center of the grip. Applying pressure at the very end or closer to the head will decrease it's accuracy.

The tool is what it is - a fine piece of kit from a leading manufacturer. What I am writing about today is my experience of biketart. I must confess to being a little cautious as I hadn’t heard of them before. A quick check of trustpilot showed good reviews and so I went ahead with my purchase. Biketart were great. The tool arrived in great condition, on time and for a very competitive price. I would thoroughly recommend them based on this experience.
I bought this as recently changed the gearing on my bike. The chainset has a 8mm Allen bolt unlike the conventional two bolt pinch bolt design on the other models. I value my parts and wanted to use the appropriate tool for installation. Happy to report it did the job and happy with the purchase. I appreciate it’s expensive but the quality is there and should last. SigmaSports service is second to none from placing the order to delivery.
I bought this product. it was laying on the shelf for a year and when i wanted to use it unfortunately it was broken. I never got to use it at all beceause the new product was broken. Im trying to use the support to get help but i am a bit disapointed (and yes i know how it works, this is one of three i have..)
