Parker Jotter Originals Ballpoint Pen Black

Exactly as advertised. Bought as a gift to gf since this kind of minty pastel green is her favorite colour. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Parker carried these kinds of colors. Of course default ink is black. You'll need to swap out the ink cartridge inside if you want diff ink colours. I'd like to make a suggestion to Parker though to consider matching this pastel green to gold instead of silver on some future Jotter model. I think it'd look great.

I have been using Jotters since college in the late 1970's. Now, as a lawyer, I write extensively with one every workday. A Jotter stays in my shirt pocket all the time.These well-designed, well-made (buy the French made ones) pens will last for decades and always provide reliable service. I periodically buy an extra one to have on hand in case I lose one and sometimes I give one away. The Parker refills write smoothly but the Schmidt refill is also nice. I prefer the stainless ones, as I think they look classier, and your ownership of it is more likely to be respected if someone walks by your desk and sees it laying there and has an urge to "borrow" it.

I think the Parker Jotter is an underrated pen, overall. It is an inexpensive pen but there are many worse at the same price point. The all metal version of the jotter is bullet proof. I use a fine nib in my pens (not easy to find for the jotter).Fine nibs in inexpensive pens can be quite scratchy and it is not unusual to find variable quality in low-cost pens. However, I only found one nib that was 'scratchy'. I replaced that and my two fine jotters are both silky smooth.

Coming back to amend a previous review I left about 2.5 weeks ago. I initially had some issues with the ink flow; however, I had a great interaction with customer service, and they sent me an ink refill that they tested and verified at no additional charge! They really came through and now it writes like a dream. I'm very thankful that they would go through such lengths for me. Thanks JetPens! God bless in Jesus' name!

Love the design of these pencils, very good quality, made out of brusshed metal , it gives it a more luxurious look and feel. It goes go very smoothly on paper and feels very easy to write with it. It does come with a rechargeable ink slot for the second ink pen, but you can also get additional if needed. Feels very good quality and honestly best pens ever. I got this set engraved for my partner as I am sure it will be a great gift and also memory.

Nice Pen

I had read a raving review of the Parker Jotter, extolling its superiority as one of the first (1954!) reasonably priced steps up from generic disposable pens. There were no try-it models in the store, but I stepped up, selected a medium point (I prefer wide, but none were available), paid the nearly $20.00, and took it home. It does write quite smoothly, doesn't skip, and, though rather narrow, feels good in hand. It is definitely better than the free advertising pens at the bank. But, $20.00? I'm not sure it is any better than the several-for-$20 disposables. It does look classier, but if that's important to you, you should probably be spending even more, at least moving up to the slightly wider and visually classier Parker IM.

One thing you should know about this pen

Bought this pen in hopes it would be reliable. I have been hunting for a reliable pen that will write clearly and never have those lines in the letters when you write. I work in a building with tile flooring. After reading about this company, inovating pens to be the most reliable piece of writing equiptment you can have I bought one. It was great, smooth and wrote every letter perfectally. Two days later it slipped out of my hands, dropp on the floor and did not write the same. So i bought a refill In hopes it would not happen again. Then next day the pen slipped out of my hands again, hit the floor, and the same thing happened. Perfect gift for a co-worker

I bought this for an ex-coworker who was moving on to a fantastic new opportunity. He loved it right away. The sleek design, the "smooth" writing and his name on it. It was perfect! Review of Parker Jotter Victoria Violet Ballpoint Pen

It’s a beautiful pen with a lovely weight to it. I bought it so I could write my a level exams (long answers) in a comfortable pen. I love the fact it’s engraved with my name. I also love how Parkers last for years and sometimes multiple generations (I’m still writing with my Grandpas Parker from the 60s) . Such lovely pens would recommend to anyone.

Writes well, looks and feels good

I purchased the Parker Jotter in Waterloo Blue to replace the Cross Classic Century I’d carried for decades and lost on vacation. The Jotter writes well, looks and feels good, and fits perfectly in my Day-Timer. Engraving on the brushed stainless barrel is not overtly obvious and matches my understated style perfectly. I appreciate that The Jotted Line Blog on the Dayspring website provides much information. Samantha Di Nardo’s posts are invaluable in choosing the right pen and learning about pens in general. I’ll be ordering again from Dayspring Pens.
