This is a fantastic hair dryer. It has a really fast throughput of air on both settings, and two heat outputs, that result in cold, warm, very warm, and hot depending on the air flow setting. It isn't really a travel type of "compact" hair dryer as it is not tiny, but it isn't very large like a lot of "professional" quality dryers. It isn't overly loud, but not whisper quiet either. It is light enough to be easy to handle and with fairly large slider-type buttons that are stiff enough to avoid moving by mistake which is important as they are placed on the handle where you hold the dryer, unfortunately. I bought this hair dryer for my daughters 21st birthday. I haven't given it to her yet but I'm sure she will love it as she uses mine all the time and I have the same dryer but its red. Thanks

Love Parlux ! This is my second Parlux for my overseas stays and travelling. I purchased the 3800 ionic & ceramic a few months ago and when I needed another travel hairdryer, the decicion was very easy. This' Parlux 3500 super compact ionic 'is super compact, powerful and dryes your hair in max of approx. 10 minutes without any frizz, thanks to the ionic technology. Even my husband told me " the best one ever". Once you go "Parlux" you don't turn back!!
I am finding my Parlux 3500 larger and heavier than expected. Not a compact one that I would like to take on holiday. It is also much noisier than my last Clairol which I have had 30+ years. However, it is powerful, dried my hair quickly on the lowest heat setting. I do find it to be a bit flimsy construction for the price, on mine the mesh over the back filter is loose, whether it is meant to be or not, not sure. So I will have to be very careful with it, otherwise it will break. If you have curly hair then you will definitely, need a diffuser. I would like a comment from Parlux about the loose mesh.
This is a fabulous compact and powerful hair dryer. My hairdresser recommended this to me many years ago and this purchase was a replacement of my old Parlux. It is not heavy to hold to dry your hair and my hair is long and it dries it in not time but doesn't damage it. The reason for replacing my old Parlux was because my hairdresser said my hair was becoming damaged and that I should get a new hair dryer. My old one was over 10 years old!! Its a very good investment.
Bought this hairdryer for traveling. I expected it to be small and light. It’s small but a lot heavier than my large hairdryer that I use every day. I’m disappointed not to be able to bring it on holiday as it’s just too heavy.

I wanted to purchase the same hairdryer as my previous one (which I've given to a family member and is still in very good working order after purchasing it over 10 years ago). The new one works as expected - dries hair quickly and lightweight. I'm very pleased with this product.
I didn't know that blow dryer can make such a huge difference. After using this dryer I started getting compliments on my hair. Friends would randomly comment how my hair looks great, even though it has been months since I been to the salon, realized it was the dryer! This dryer makes my hair shine, bouncy, silky. I used blow dry then flat iron to get straight shinny look, NO MORE flat iron! I am very happy with it, and since I bought two more, one for mom and one for my sister, for their bdays!
