Parlux Alyon Air Ionizer Hair Dryer 2250W & Diffuser- Red

At my hairdresser's insistence, I have always had Parlux for my super thick, long and unruly hair. This one replaced my 9yo one which I had sadly dropped on a concrete step one too many times...It's my favourite colour, it's faster (for me) than my old one and I love how much cooler it is on the low heat setting (actually stays cool unlike my previous one), but my one itty-bitty gripe is that the high heat setting is MUCH hotter than my old one. This is fine for me, but I can't use it on my kids who swim multiple times each week, so drying routine is now a tiny bit longer while I use the lower setting.

Love my Parlux. After only ever using GHD Air dryers, it took a bit of convincing to convert to Parlux, but I’m glad I did. My hair feels polished and styles set all day. The dryer feels sturdy without being too heavy, and quality made. Worth the investment!

Cut down my drying time and frizz

I always used the GHD hairdryer but all hairdressers I have been to used Parlux so I thought I would buy at home. Bought the Alyon as it was the most powerful and I am so glad I did. It's soooo much lighter compared to the GHD, dries my hair much faster and I do think it reduces frizz as well - not fully but I don't expect a hairdryer to do that... Love it and glad I bought it.

No regrets - wonderful hairdryer

I've recently started the Curly Girl Method and wanted a new hairdryer and also buy a particular defusser (Xtava Black Orchid difusser) I was recommended the Parlux by many people and there are no regrets!!! It dries my hair really quickly without needing to go on high heat, top speed! I also barely have any frizz from it!. Its lovely and light Compact but very powerful Has 3 heat settings (cool, medium, high) 2 speeds Cool shot The lead is brilliantly long so I can dry my hair the other side of my room. Hairdryer is really good. And great that it has 2 nozzles. The nozzle actually stays on when in use which is excellent as I've had problems with other hairdryers.My only disappointment is the photo of the Jade looks so pretty when in reality it's khaki and not the attractive aqua colour I was hoping for.

I spent a lot of time researching the best hair dryers and Parlux always always received outstanding reviews. After discussions with my hairdresser (who swears by them) I decided to purchase. My main reason is because myself and my daughter have really thick hair and lots of it. It takes so long to dry and that was my motivation. All I can say is wow and now it really is much quicker, softer and less frizzy using the Alyon. Lightweight, powerful and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this hairdryer and it is worth the money. Pleasure to use

So my teenage son has claimed my old one!The Alyon hairdryer is amazing, I have long, thick blonde hair that always goes frizzy in humidity and would need to either keep drying over the same place or use ghds to keep it smooth..The Parlux Alyon hairdryer takes all that away and dries my hair in super quick time too.The ionizer goes along way for keeping hair smooth and I’ve had a lot of compliments about how good my hair looks, it’s feels smoother and looks smoother too. Lovely hairdryer.It's lightweight but powerful and dries my hair quickly. The colour is a bit darker than in the pictures but is still a gorgeous colour.Its the most I've ever spent on a hair dryer but totally worth the money.

Very powerful hairdryer has hair dry in no time. Lightweight and quiet. Would recommend this hairdryer. Excellent packaging but the website said the hairdryer came with a "Free Gift" a paddle hairbrush but there was no sign of any free gift/hairbrush!

Review of Parlux Alyon Hairdryer, Jade

I had heard about Parlux hairdryers and wondered what could be so different about them to justify the price tag. Then realised that I think nothing of spending hundreds of pounds on eg a vacuum cleaner yet skimped on hairdryers. Who cares how clean my floors are if my hair is a mess? On a 'cost per wear' basis, the parlux hairdryers are very good value indeed. Hair is dried faster, shiny and bouncy. Style seems to hold longer too. Wish I'd got one years ago. Only slight downside is that I am drying my own hair and hold the hairdryer in my left hand, but the switches seem to have been designed for right hand use.
