Was given this sauce to review by Ocado, not something I'd normally buy. It was delicious and we ended up using the whole sachet. Not at all over powering just made the vegan stir fry delicious as well as moist.

This is a really nice stir fry sauce, just the right amount of heat, but, unless it is my taste buds there was no satay flavour. I added garlic, chopped shallots and soy sauce when frying off the chicken so maybe that killed it. I have leftovers so am trying it reheated with a dollop of peanut butter for lunch. I would buy it again as it was still yummy.

I don't usually buy packet or jar sauces but I've just had a delightful meal. Mildly spicy, sweet and sticky. Excellent served with jasmine rice. Will definitely buy again

The satay flavour isn't as strong as I was expecting, but this is a good thing as normally I find satay flavoured sauces overwhelming and was expecting a similar experience! very flavourful, went well with chicken and vegetables. Runnier than ideal but soon fixed that with a bit of corn flour.
Cooked this with stir fry veg and Quorn chicken pieces. Very quick and easy to make. Tasted very good, mild flavour. Didnt get much of the nut taste that was advertised though. Would eat again.
This wasnt the thicker, peanut flavoured product I would have liked. And it was too sweet for me. It would probably be good with a lot of rice, perhaps some broccoli and other vegetables. Not for us, unfortunately.
I was surprised at the negative reviews as we loved this sauce. I pre-cooked lots of finely chopped vegetables & edamame beans, mixed with ocado sliced fried, skinless, boneless thighs. Added the sauce. served with rice. Delicious
Added to a large stir fry and it coated everything surprisingly well. Its slightly spicy and slightly (very slightly) peanutty. Its nothing special but does the job for a quick ok-ish stir fry.
I added this to broccoli and tofu. Its a very watery spicy sauce that seems to have very few peanuts. Ive never sampled genuine sauce, only cooked satay from recipes, and it was much thicker and was very peanutty. Not for me. Free product.
I was sent this to review and my husband used it one night with some veg and rice. It was perfectly pleasant for an emergency dinner, but I did find the name a little misleading - its got chicken in the name even though it contains no meat! Had it not been offered to me I wouldnt have clicked on it/ tried it because were vegan and would have assumed it wouldnt be suitable. However, glad we tried it.
