An excellent book that was made into an excellent movie.
Very well written period work of the 1920's.....in fact, written in 1927 ; The author Nella Larsen was considered highly talented in her day, and rightfully so.The story moved nicely, kept your interest, and built the a very good conclusion. Very much worth the investment of time and money.
Excellent discussion book, great source for our maturing society
Nella Larsen tells a story that is enriched with timeless themes. It is one of my favorites.
