This coat was my first Patagonia purchase ever, and it was well worth the money. I have chronic circulation issues, and I've always struggled with feeling cold no matter how warm the coat claims its supposed to be. This one changed everything. Amazing craftsmanship and such a unique style. Ive already gotten compliments from friends, one saying that she had never seen a corduroy Patagonia jacket before (which made it feel even more unique)! Medium is a little large, but that just means plenty of room for layers underneath; the small would have just been a little too tight, I think. For reference, I am 5 foot 7, 145 lbs, average build. I cant wait to love this coat for decades to come!

This is a heavy jacket until you put it on. It felt like my body melted into the feathers and took away any possibility of cold to creep in. Sleeve length is perfect, longer body keeps cold out and does not ride up. Plaid flannel lining is welcoming and warm. I am a square-bodied semi-busty female in my 70's. I LOVE this coat. Can't wait for fall and winter to really break it in.

My previous mostly cotton daily-wear parka recently reached EOL and I was looking to replace it with something made of more natural materials.I'm glad I found this coat, which is roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath. For reference, I'm 5'4", ~30" at the waist (narrowest point) and ~41" at the hip (widest point) and ordered a medium. For me, the sleeve length is accurate to the modeled photos.All-in-all super comfortable and keeps me warm on chilly breezy days. Judging by the feel of the materials and construction, I expect this coat to last me a long time.

I wanted a new coat that was great to run errands or walk the dogs. I wanted it light, but couldn't find a puffer coat I liked. I really liked the large cord and nouveau green color, so I took a chance ordered. I told my hubby I had to love it. I have been battling chronic migraines for 13 years and worried about fit. I have always been curvy with broad shoulders. The XL fits beautifully and I love the coat.
This coat!! ❤️My ex-sister-in-law has this as her go-to in Colorado. I decided I needed one myself. She had the dark brown, which is rich, and looks great on. I decided to go with the dark green. I can't get myself to wear anything else! Between the plush layers of material and the down, wearing this coat is like the best type of hug.I had a friend who commented on how the material isn't waterproof. The fact is, it doesn't matter! It can rain on that cost but it is so thick I never feel it. Drape it over a chair and whatever dampness it has dried up before I get outside again. It even looks like the best - people comment on it all the time.I need a weather-proof coat? But I do, so glad this was my first splurge!!
this coat is awsome, soft lining with plenty of insulation makes it very warm, the soft outer shell and design allows you to wear this coat in a variety of situations. the coat looks great with jeans and a casual look for roaming around town as well as going out to dinner. it fits snug so if you are on the upper end of your size, consider the next size if you think you are going to layer under it, otherwise it fits great. as always the quality of Patagonia shines through
I stalked this jacket for months. It’s heavy but in a comforting way. I wanted one coat that was for the coldest times to replace older coats. This fits the bill, and it’s corduroy which is cozier than other fabrics. I usually wear a medium in Patagonia and this was no exception. And I’m not a big woman.
True to size; I always appreciate Patagonia's slightly longer arm length compared to other brands. (This style of sleeve would be easy to fold up if desired unlike other parkas.)I'm 5'7" and 165 lbs and got the L which is ample; M would probably fit but this allows for thicker winter clothing. The collar is still tight enough around my neck and doesn't hang oddly. Great if you're on the taller side of your size range. This surprisingly warm puffy jacket hits slightly lower than the hip, just covering the backside. Love that it's softer than most parkas due to the corduroy. The green is more of a soft denim blue but still gorgeous.Excellent choice Patagonia! More please!
I love it.I got the tan color and am amazed at the craftsmanship and quality. I initially ordered the Downdrift Jacket, but didn’t like the cropped waist. This jacket rests on my hips and fits perfectly. I especially love the lining as looks like Burberry in that it adds a special something. I’d love this in the green color too, but not available in my size. For size reference, I’m 5’ 7” 124 36-26-36 and size Small is perfection.Enjoy
I love this jacket so much. I ordered the blue, which is stunning, and the lining is such a cute surprise. The quality is high, great stitching and soft fabrics. I work in fashion and can spot a quality garment from a mile away, this definitely is made to last, and therefore worth the money. An easy way to help combat climate change is to buy LESS and find pieces that can last me for many years.I ordered a size small, but exchanged it for a medium as I wanted a slightly oversized fit. The exchange was the EASIEST and FASTEST ever. Literally had my new jacket on my doorstep two days later. 10/10 would recommend. I love you Pattie!
