I wrote a review earlier regarding my issue with the sizing (I'm a woman and ordered a L and got a women's XL and a men's L). I was very disappointed with the Patagonia reply that I could exchange it for free within a few days. I have enough errands to do and emergencies to tend to, I hate having another errand of returning/exchanging something, and an exchange probably wouldn't get here in time before my trip anyway. And the mistake in sizing was yours, based on sexism no less. (Hint-- calling something gender inclusive but then going by men's sizes exclusively in ordering without even indicating that, excludes women and nonbinary folk who don't go by men's sizing. I appreciate the steps toward gender neutral options, but going by men's items and sizes as ... I think you could do better here, by at least waiving the $5 return fee when I do have a moment to send it back.

Just a normal, nice fleece blend hoody. Worth spending a little more on for patagonias mission and general quality, warranty, etc but not a dramatically different product than youd get with any other basic pullover hoody. The gray-green color is a little more earthy/drab/military than expected. Not a bad color but it looked more minty to me online.

This is really disappointing to have to write. I received two of these hoodies one in black the other in grey. They fit great looked awesome. When I took them both off I was covered in fuzz which I was surprised by, so I decided to wash them, and air dry them when I pulled them out they looked fine apart from the black hoodie ripping from its seams on the hood. I couldn’t believe it. Not only was it now leaving fuzz everywhere, the seams ripped and after they had dried the length shrunk an inch at least. (Air dry) I paid 110 each for both the most is ever paid for hoodies expecting if I paid this kind of money I’d have these for years. Boy was I wrong. Not only that I spent 40 dollars to have the hoodie sewn back together again. I’m so upset about this with the ... MoreThis is really disappointing to have to write. I work hard for my money like most people. This really shook my confidence in Patagonia as a company that prides itself on its quality/ price.

It's good. Exactly what I'd expect for $89, no more, no less. The fit is perfect, the material is decently thick. It's not the softest, but it's warm, and feels durable.Yeah, you can probably find something better for the price, but with Patagonia, you pay little extra for their impressive ethics and environmental consciousness. I'm not factoring that part into my rating though. As far as the actual product goes, It's on par with the quality I'm used to from them: Just about right for what you're paying. If this goes on sale for under $75, that's when I'd say it's a great deal.
The fabric of this hoody is soft, comfortable with just the right amount of weight. Unfortunately, it is not true to size. I usually wear XL in Patagonia products, but this hoody fits like an XXL--long in sleeves and waist, and wide in torso. I will be returning rather than hoping it shrinks, but will have to wait for preferred color to be available again.
I love this hoodie. Its thick, but also soft and isnt stiff. I will usually put this under my nano puff jacket and it will keep me super warm in the Colorado winter.I even went to buy two more off of Worn Wear. Though, I had some issues with that. I ordered two, and got one (in Wyoming green color) as a small. I was pretty irritated about that but it seems to fit close to my medium hoodie. I wonder if maybe since it was off worn wear it was an older model which sizes would run bigger than todays models. Either the people at Worn Wear knew about some wacko sizing or they just messed it up. Anyway, Its still kinda a nuisance but its alright. I may return that one soon.
I bought this for my wife and she LOVES IT! This is an amazing hoodie, thick and super warm. Colour was nicer in the flesh than it looks on the website (powder blue). The fabric is soft and feels substantial. My wife wears anything from medium to large in hoodies (big bust) - and the medium fits her perfectly. It's a simple hoodie with minimalist look. Highly recommended 🤙Also... We originally ordered the large size and it was just too big. The customer service team were awesome. Free return and sent the new one, all inside of a week. This is why I love shopping with this company ✌️
The sustainability and quality was there, as you'd expect, but the sizing of the Fitz Roy is extremely baggy for anyone with a normal/athletic build. I'm a medium (5'11", 75kg) in their P6 range and they fit fine, but I drowned in the Fitz Roy and I suspect a small would be too short (and still too wide and baggy). Teenagers might like the very loose fit but surely that isn't Patagonia's target audience? I found the Fitz Roy impractical as well as unflattering. Sizing remains Patagonia's Achilles heel unfortunately.
Very comfortable hoody. I love the color. It's a different pinkish hue that's not barbie. Super soft interior--love the lining and love that it's a different tone, grey. It's warmer than the M's Shearling Jkt that I bought. Love it! I would love it more if it came as a zipper hoodie.
So I ordered a large because for Patagonia shirts I tend to go between a medium and a large, and for a hoodie, I thought erring on the size of large would be cozy. It was pretty huge and wouldn't fit under my rain coat for a trip I'm going on. I was looking at the tag to then try and find the name of the hoodie, and lo and behold, it has two sizes listed: W's XL, M's L. I am a woman and I selected Large on the check out, but was sent an XL for me. There is no where on the check out that says "W's XL M's L", only a general selection. So the default, I guess, is to men's sizes? Ugh. Annoyed that I have to use $5 and go through the hastle to exchange this, and time before my trip is running out.
