Great shirt. Heavy weight; Double pockets; Quality material with a soft hand; Long enough to wear outside or tucked in. Collar is a little weak but overall worth the money.

Ordered the Hemlock green/oak as a gift for my husband. Just received today. Even nicer than the photo. Soft fabric, well made, fits perfectly. Arrived in two days, what a great surprise! Great purchase. Will be that perfect comfortable warm shirt for fall/winter.

My husband has been wearing Patagonia Fjord Flannel shirts for years. He has 29 hanging in his closet- it?s his go-to for work. Always been a size Large. We ordered 4 this year, & they are cut totally different and too small. The xl is too large- just can?t find the right fit from a shirt that has fit him so well for years. He?s bummed because he loves these shirts.

Nice shirt, but sizing is "off." I got this shirt several years ago amd a small was perfect; just bought another one, and the small was too small and medium too big. For reference, I'm 5'10" 185 lbs, somewhat muscular. Good shirt, but try on before you take the tags off.
The material is wonderful. Only issue is the sizing. The XL runs slim - so, if you need extra room, you may find this too snug. In my case, the arms a bit too long and the chest is doesn't provide any room for layers underneath.
Great Flannel Shirt soft warm and fits perfectly. I'm 6'4" and 200 the XL is like a fitted shirt on me. Love the square cut off at the bottom. Can't go wrong with Patagonia in general. Got it in New Navy/North Line and will likely buy a few more in other colors.
While expensive, in this case you do get what you pay for (particularly if you can find this shirt on sale). The medium weight shirt has a generous fit (more of this fit please Patagonia!) and I sized down from my typical Patagonia Large for a medium. I'm 5'8" about 195lbs and this shirt can be worn over a T-shirt or on its own. I like the straight hem and duel pockets. If you are like me - of the grunge era - this one also allows one to channel their innerEddie Vedder. Seriously, this is the perfect shirt for those crisp fall days and is versatile enough to play dress up to go out on the town, or toss on after a hike/bike/trail run sesh for some craft beers or overpriced coffee. Sustainably made and built to last. I have owned many of these over the years and keep ... MoreWhile expensive, in this case you do get what you pay for (particularly if you can find this shirt on sale). Look, I'm a geezer who's absolutely NOT buffed out. In fact, I am specifically on a 60 day bouldering campaign to improve my upper body fitness. With that in mind, I received this shirt as a gift and was very surprised to discover how tight the arms are on me; almost to the point of being uncomfortable.I don't know what is going on at Patagonia; seems like all their stuff is being cut very skinny these days.FWIW: This problem does not exist across the North Face clothing line; and the brand needle in my closet is moving accordingly.
I can't say that I agree with the other reviews about sizing. Seems to have stayed pretty consistent for me, in that I'm still a Medium. I prefer Slim Fit but this is the type of product where I don't mind that boxy Patagonia Regular Fit. I have owned roughly 6-8 of these throughout the last 10 years or so. Arounf once a year they come out with a color I want to add to my collection and this year was no different.I also prefer to send my money towards companies like Patagonia, that make an effort to investigate their supply chains and find options that pollute less and care about workers more.
Okay, I wear flannel shirts for about six months each year and I’ve gone through a lot of major brands. I actually really like the REI brand ones, but the thickness of the material of these shirts as well as how overall soft they are really stood out to me, so I grabbed a couple of them.A bit of warning, I am a broad-shouldered dude that normally wears a large, but I had to get an XL because of how tight the backs of the shoulders were, so I would say they trend to run a little bit small. One thing that I admittedly didn’t notice or care about but thought it was neat enough to mention: Patagonia is apparently supporting people who are currently trying to go organic. Unfortunately you cannot just declare yourself organic, there is a 3 year period of no chemical ... MoreOkay, I wear flannel shirts for about six months each year and I’ve gone through a lot of major brands. Unfortunately you cannot just declare yourself organic, there is a 3 year period of no chemical pesticide use before you are declared “organic” by the USDA. Patagonia is sourcing their cotton from people who are within that 3 year period, supporting them with what is essentially organic cotton, which is REALLY helping out the small farmers that are trying to do so.
