The Patagonia Long Sleeve P-6 Logo Responsibili-Tee colour Black is a great casual piece for the cooler seasons. Crafted from 50/50 blend of recycled cotton/postconsumer recycled polyester this tee is a more environmentally friendly option as it reduced the amount of petroleum needed to make raw materials and therefore reduces landfill and incinerator waste. Tapered shoulder seams offer comfort, as does the softly ribbed crew neck. The brand name is printed to both the chest and across the back in PVC- and phthalate-free print. Fair Trade Certified sewn.

My apparel/gear for backcountry /nordic/alpine skiing, climbing, mountaineering, biking, hiking, paddling, etc is largely comprised of Patagonia pieces. Patagonia quality and longevity - combined with the companys ethos- means I typically choose it over Arc Teryx, Rab, Stio, OR, Mountain Hardwear, Mammut, Flylow, Icebreaker, etc. That said, this shirt is awful. I wholeheartedly support finding and using the most sustainable materials available for clothing, so I wanted to love this thing. There has to be a way to make globally conscious apparel more comfortable than THIS. It is very disappointing.

I purchased two Responsibili-Tee's, one long sleeve and one short. I love the look and design of these shirts, and the mission to use recycled products is amazing, but at the end of the day, they need to work and perform. Both of my shirts have very little breathability, and cause me to sweat much more than normal shirts. In addition to this, the sleeve cuffs on my long sleeve became stretched out after maybe 3 wears, to the point where I have the choice to either hike them up my arms or have them constantly falling over my hands.

I will start by saying I have been buying the patagonia long sleeve tees for several years as they have been my go-to long sleeve shirt and I am a big advocate for the brand. However, I have been very disappointed with the last two I have purchased.I am usually a true medium but I would size down to a small with these since the shirt tends to run slightly large and the small was wide enough to fit my chest and shoulders well while being less long around the torso. However, the last two that I have bought have both had very poor quality cuts. Both were similar and in a regular fit. The first, which was an exact version/color I had before, was super tight in the arms to where it was constricting to move, but the torso was incredibly long and baggy. The logo on the front was noticeably offset, the torso was tight and the sleeves looked like they had been pulled off of a XXL. They would slide down and cover my hands unless I pushed the sleeve up over my forearm and the tricep area of the shirt had about 6 inches of extra fabric.Unfortunately, I will not be planning to purchase any more of these shirts until I am confident that their quality control is much better. Or I can just try on 15 different shirts in hope that one actually fits normally.

For Breathability Size UP
5 June 2023

Due to being made of recycled materials, the fabric of this shirt is heavier and thicker than organic cotton. Also, it lacks breathability due to weight and thickness. The solution is to size up so the fit is a little looser and air can flow beneath the shirt, especially up the back. I wouldn't wear this shirt on a 90 degree day, but I'd sure grab it below, say, 60. While some might think the logo is a bit much, I personally like the Patagucci fashion statement!

Inconsistent Sizing
21 March 2023

I love Patagonia products, and have been wearing them for many years. I've become a little exhausted with the sizing on recent purchases. I bought this shirt in medium in a few different colours - two colours fit decently and two are gigantic (all size medium). I reordered them in a size small hoping for a less baggy fit, upon receiving them - two fit too small and two fit okay. This is quite frustrating.. Does the material differ between colours? Paid for shipping the first time, then paid for return, then paid for shipping again. I'm unsure of what to do at this point. There is a very noticeable variation in fit between colours in the same size. Truly stumped.

Interesting Weight = Interesting Perform
6 November 2022

Owing to its fabric from recycled bottles, this shirt is pretty robust; kinda on the cusp of a lightweight sweatshirt. Seems like it would do well for Climbing by resisting the scuffs and scratches of rocks. Yet it obviously makes a neat fashion statement. Like a lot of Patagonia stuff, I find this shirt runs "trim" ; so I went up one size and was glad I did. It's warmer than an equivalent cotton shirt, nice for chilly season now. Well worth the price, in my opinion.

Nice Casual Long Sleeve for Mild-Cool Temps
15 May 2023

The shirt has a certain texture to it which adds to design but looked slightly "fuzzy" at first. Only noticeable in close proximity. It runs pretty warm. I wouldn't wear it 70 degree F or higher. I wore it solely for casual outings. Way too hot to work in room temp. Doesn't feel breathable. I noticed some slight pilling above the butt due to day to day sitting, etc.. after only a couple wears. It feels tight in the armpits especially when compared to other shirts. Feeling is still there but I got used to it. Overall, I like how they look but it took some getting used to.

Soft, Warm and Easy to take care of.
27 April 2022

I bought my first Responsibili Long sleeve T shirt about 3 years ago. I liked its softness and warmth so much that I ended up ordering 4 more. My daughter took 1 for herself, I am giving the Gold colored one to my second granddaughter. This shirt is easy to maintain. Just cold wash and tumble dry. I LOVE Patagonia products. I recommend others to try this shirt. This is the only company where you can return their products and can get credits to buy more Patagonia. EXCELLENT customer service and MARKETING. Thank you Patagonia. I always Appreciate your company.

Way too hot
31 March 2022

This is a great quality shirt, it really is.However, I bought one, in white, largely to wear when it is very hot and sunny and I'm outdoors (hiking, running, golf, sports, yard work etc). I'm not sure if the reviews here are Aus-only, but if you're in a hot place this is not even close to wearable in summer. I do get hot pretty easily, but this thing wears more like a light jumper than a t shirt. The short sleeve version is the same, I can't wear it if it's warm or humid. The material is just too thick. The upside is that it's very comfy and super well-made, out of nice thick material. Maybe after 20 years of wearing it, it will have lost enough thread for it to be a summer shirt! It also runs pretty big, I usually get an L or XL in Aus or Asian brands, but I could ... MoreThis is a great quality shirt, it really is.However, I bought one, in white, largely to wear when it is very hot and sunny and I'm outdoors (hiking, running, golf, sports, yard work etc). White = Faint Blue
31 October 2022

I thought it was just me, until I saw the "Silly" review below: Ordered White and got Faint Blue, kinda like what happens when you accidentally through a white shirt in with your jeans. Oh, well; it's still a great shirt, so no biggie. This fabric is robust, almost on the cusp of a lightweight sweatshirt. I actually sized UP for more breathability underneath. At MSRP, it's a great value and I like the sustainability foundation; at the sale price, it's a steal! Grab at least one!
