Good jacket major flaw

Was excited for this jacket tried it out at Whistler BC last weekend (was middle of April)lightly snowing for most of the day. Everything in exterior pockets completely soaked. Don’t even want to know how bad it will perform in an actual “storm”. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to not have waterproof zippers on an actual ski/board jacket. 4 exterior pockets all useless
