This is my favourite fleece i own, its very comfy and extremely warm...i literally cannot wear it indoors because it is that warm. I purchased my first piece 6 years ago and the
quality is remarkable. I just purchased another in black. In canadian winters i can go outside with this and a down vest.I am 6'2 and my weight fluctuates from 180-210lbs
depending on whether I am bulking or cutting. I have this in XL and L. The XL is very big...I can still wear it and its look okay...especially when Im nearing 200lbs, but now at
185lbs, the XL looks way too big. If you are around my height and current weight (6'2 185lbs) and want to be safe i would go with a size L. If you have an opportu... Show more

This is the first fleece purchase from Patagonia. Initially, I was concerned about pilling that I had experienced from other brands. When I received it, it looked great and fit was
larger, but stylish enough that anyone can pull it off.The chest pocket is generous enough to hold a cellphone l, but it won't close the button.I wear it to the office and I got a
lot of compliments. The pullover is also easy to maintain.

Great quality - poor fit

I'll preface this by saying I own a few other sweaters from Patagonia (Better Sweater 1/4 zip and Cotton Quilt Snap-T) and they're a Large. The fit is great and I have zero
complaints. When I bought this I bought a large as well - big mistake apparently. This definitely runs big. Arm length was good, but the body of it makes me feel like I'm
wearing a garbage bag and I'm swimming in it. Not sure why such a large discrepancy between the different makes. Quality of the sweater is fantastic though. Very
comfortable, super warm, and I couldn't be happier there. Fit is the only issue.I'm 6'0" and about 200lbs.

If you have an opportunity to try size M i would also try that because they run big and can look funky depending on your weight. They run long. An L goes halfway down my butt and an XL almost fully, i have a larger torso so this is a bit weird to me. I figured this is just the style of the piece (oversized). They are also very wide and theres lots of arm room, again this isnt supposed to be a fitted fleece...its supposed to be roomy...but consider that when youre puchasing.I am considering going into the store myself and trying on a size M just to see the fit.Overall 9/10 on this piece. Amazing quality but the fit can be weird. I wish i couldve exchanged the size XL when i had bought it initially.... Show more

Runs Kinda Small (Not fitted for Women’s Body)
15 December 2023
I am 5'4 / 1m64 and I always buy in the Men’s section, I never have any problem and buys Men’s XS/S/M . And, I know Men’s clothing will always be made broader at the shoulder section and longer, as well as narrower at the hips. However, there’s this elastic at the waist that is made way too tight and it’s uncomfortable. I don’t have the biggest hips, but I wish I would have bought a size small or even medium for that oversized look. XS looks fitted and it fits fine, but it’s too tight at the waist/hips. Also, the fleece isn’t as thick as I was expecting. I would return it if I could.... Show more

Sheds a lot!
22 March 2024
I like the warmth, lightweight, the color the style, and the comfort. The only problem is the shedding. I washed it twice, and ran Dyson through it (both collected a lot of sheds), and it still keeps shedding. To understand if it would eventually stop shedding, I experimented by keep gently pulling fibers from a penny-sized area, and here is the fur ball I collected (see photo). For this entire, jacket, you could probably collect a baseball-sized fur before it can stop shedding.... Show more

The garment it’s self appears
14 March 2024
The garment it’s self appears to be good, I have not fully put it to the test yet but initial feeling is positive.I was very unhappy to find all the items of clothing from Patagonia that came in this order were individually wrapped in soft plastic. This is absolutely unacceptable from your brand and I will not order again until this is resolved. Noting I buy clothes once every 12 months and typically only from Patagonia for ethical and environmental reasons. This is my reason for a one star review. A brand that speaks a big environmental game needs to walk the talk and unnecessary soft plastic use makes my blood boil.... Show more

The product sheds fleece fibers - Disappointing for the price
8 November 2022
I purchased the Oatmeal Heather style Synchilla Lightweight Snap-T Pullover and wore it for over a year. The product is soft, comfortable and keeps the body very warm over winter. However the fleece would not stop shedding all over my clothes, it was frustrating having the fleece fibers all over my pants and tops. Even after machine washing the jumper numerous times, the product would continue to shed. It became a very embarrassing product to wear having all the fibers come on to anything you touch.Thankfully Patagonia has refunded me a gift card in the amount of the purchase. But I am very disappointed for the expensive price you pay, that its not reflected in the quality of the product.... Show more

Timeless Style That Lasts Forever
2 September 2023
I have a couple of the Lightweight Synchilla Snap Ts and procrastinated getting this heavier version. Now that I have one, I realy like the extra weight and warmth. I've even slept in it! If you don't plan on wearing much underneath, then you might want to consider going down one size; as they DO run on the large size. I wear XL and even XXL in other Patagonia products; but find Large in this model and the Lightweight version to fit me just fine with, say, a Capilene long sleeve underneath. A word of advice: Choose your color carefully in this iconic Top, because you're going to have it and wear it for years to come!... Show more

Travelled in this
27 January 2024
I purchased this fleece to travel South America as one of my layers and I found myself a little disappointed. I have never owned a Patagonia product before, but was excited by my purchase because I thought I was buying a good quality product that both looked good and functioned well as a warm pullover. Unfortunately I found that it was only stylish for me. After traveling with it for 6 months in may climates I found myself cold whilst others with similar fleeces were warm. I wore this by itself whilst going out at night, I wore it under a shell while hiking, and I wore it as a layer while snowboarding. The whole time I wanted to like it, but I just didn’t perform the way I thought it might. The pullover had some positives, like comfort and it didn’t shrink after ... MoreI purchased this fleece to travel South America as one of my layers and I found myself a little disappointed. Warm, comfortable companion
11 March 2024
Given how often styles change, I'm very glad that you've kept this classic in your lineup and have only changed how you acquire the material in keeping with your mission. You got it right the first time and I'm grateful that you respect this fact. I've been wearing these for 25 years and hope to be wearing them for 25 more. There's a synergistic quality in the combination of fabric and design that creates an aesthetic that makes it a great companion in the outdoors.... Show more
