We generally use this sauce to marinade chicken overnight rather than as a sauce, if you want it hotter you can use just the sauce, we mix around 60/40 with soured cream or yoghurt, we then use a vac pack bag, add chicken breasts & then leave overnight. When you then fry or grill the chicken it has a great taste & melts in the mouth.

These jars offer a tasty way to cook an authentic curry quickly. We had some left over chicken from Sunday lunch. We added it to this sauce, heated through and served over rice. Very quick and easy supper.

I tend to buy Pataks sauces quite regularly, and I normally use the Tikka masala with cooked chicken, all I do is mix the sauce in and add some fresh herbs, tastes better than ready meals and don't take any longer to cook. Will buy again.
I'm a bit wimpy when it comes to chilli heat so I don't usually buy anything labelled medium or hot. But was feeling brave, and was pleased to find that this sauce is lovely and just right for heat, it made a good vegetable and chick pea curry for a weeknight supper. Plenty for four servings.
Really creamy tomato based sauce. Loads of taste but not alot of heat, I like it is as it is but it would be easy to add abit of chilli if you like more heat. Only took twenty-five minutes to make a great meal for four and was very easy to use. I had it with onion, garlic, carrots, ginger, butternut squash, peppers, rice and fresh coriander.
This used to be my favourite, but since the label redesign, the flavour has all but gone. The sauce is bland now, too sweet, too garlicky, with a gloopy texture. It's okay at a push, if you add extra spices and some tomatoes to it, but it's a shadow of its former tasty self.
