Great if you like truffle

These are the best crisps you can find with a truffle flavour. Most of the other branded truffle crisps taste like anything but truffle. If you like truffle you won't be disappointed. I see some comments complain about the flavour but of course if you don't like truffle it's not gonna be your thing.

Great lower carb, higher fat crisps

These are cut thinner than most, so they are crunchier and have more surface area for the flavourings, which are generally good even if a little salty. Being thinly cut also means that they absorb more fat and are therefore lower carb per 100g. This is great if you understand carbo-insulin theory, and that fat is the best source of calories for health and longevity, while higher glycemic index carbs are the worst.

Like Marmite

Im reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. Couldnt decide if I actually liked these or not. Strong flavour but personally too overpowering. Also found them a bit greasy and overly salty.

New Favourite

These are insanely good. So so truffley. Not too greasy and nice and crispy, quite like tyrells in texture but with an intense savoury flavour. They are so strong and tasty and full of umami that I find I actually only need a few to feel satisfied and even though I love them, I can make a bag last a few days(similar to a strong blue cheese or something, I find it hard to binge on like other foods). my only slight criticisms is the bag is bizarrely hard to open - I had to use scissors. And the salt is quite coarse which can make the last few in the pack a bit salty. That may be me being disgusting and trying to eat every last morsel though. I think I might save the leftover truffle salt to add to chips or something

New recipe?

I have loved these crips for years but over the last few weeks the packets I have bought have been unbearably salty. They have always been quite heavily salted, but I liked that. Now, however, the level of salt seems to have increased to unpleasant levels. Previously unheard of, I failed to finish the last packet and it went in the bin. Has the recipe changed? I will not be buying these expensive treats again.

These potato chips were delicious, two of the three bags came intact, none of the chips were crushed. One of the bags was accidentally torn as it placed in the box- it was not securely packaged. It may have torn from an attempt to tamper with the box. Thais did not stop me from enjoying the truffle potato chips!

I have auto immune disease. Due to this I can't eat many things. Including potato chips but for some reason I could eat these. I ordered tons of bags, have them with my salad, sometimes with my steak, it reminds me of the days are used to eat french fries. It has an oily taste but not too heavy. It leaves me with no stomach ache, no acne know nothing. People might wonder this review is a bit odd. But when you suffer from auto immune disease this is a dream! Will be a customer for life

Truly. Utterly. Horrible

I was really, really looking forward to these. Id read a lot about them, read all the reviews and seen someone eating them on the telly. I was ready to taste the most delicious crisps of my entire lifehow wrong was I!!They are utterly horrible. Probably one of the worst things Ive ever eaten. I tried one and then couldnt get rid of the taste in my mouth. I just dont understand the hype or the reviews of people licking the bag. You cant lick the bag from mine its in the wheelie bin! Truly horrible. Never. Ever. Again!! What a waste of food and nearly £5!!!

longtime fan of these but it changed

My husband and I have eaten dozens over the years and the last pack we got was unbearably salty. We know its different we Just Know!! Saw a comment that also said this. Its more salty than truffly now. Will buy once more to check but if its a new recipe with extra salt, were saying goodbye to Torres.
