Simply one of the greatest CRPGs of all time. The scope of the game is massive, your choices matter, exploration is fun and important to succeed (adventure awaits!). The actual kingdom management is stressful and makes you care about your kingdom's status and its subjects. This is a game for all lovers of RPGs but perhaps mostly for the nerds of old who spent countless hours around a table and rolled dice amongst lifelong friends (Much love my fellow nerds!).Game is kinda brutal in terms of difficulty. Luckily the game does provide a lot of options. The game is very much accessible for every type of player and I think it's handled really well. In short, don't be afraid to tweak these settings if it means you'll enjoy the game and it's fantastic story, characters ... MoreSimply one of the greatest CRPGs of all time. This game is a pretty faithful representation of the tabletop game and scratched my itch for it. Great characters, cool equipment, and an interesting story all combine into a fun experience. I will say you may need to look up how to do some things as it isn't explained very well, but that mostly has to do with Kingdom Management.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker has everything we've come to expect from PC RPGs; highly customizable characters, detailed plot, lots of side quests, including party-specific quests to build loyalty, and the now-ubiquitous romance opportunity. There are a couple of areas to nitpick: the interface is a little clunky and very busy with popup windows often obscuring the map. Accessing additional information for inventory items is a kludgy two-step process. When involved in large-scale combat, there is a bug that hangs the action. This can be remedied by switching to real-time move and then back again, but I hope it's addressed in the forthcoming sequel. All in all, an excellent value and worth the time, but I'd rate it similar but (slightly) inferior to the Pillars of Eternity ... MorePathfinder: Kingmaker has everything we've come to expect from PC RPGs; highly customizable characters, detailed plot, lots of side quests, including party-specific quests to build loyalty, and the now-ubiquitous romance opportunity. There are a couple of areas to nitpick: the interface is a little clunky and very busy with popup windows often obscuring the map. I've only played this for a short amount of time but from what I've played, I've really enjoyed. From the start of the game the story is engrossing and very reminiscent of old school role playing games such as Dark Suns, Baldurs Gate & Icewind Dale.Graphically the game is beautiful - it takes the nice isometric view of those classics but brings the look and feel up-to-date with 3D characters and beautifully rendered backdrops. The sound and music is what you'd expect from an epic RPG - characters are voiced well and the music hits all the right notes, aligning itself with the relevant scenarios. All in all a good game - I strongly recommend it if you enjoy isometric, party-based role playing games that takes you back to a time when games were about the strength ... MoreI've only played this for a short amount of time but from what I've played, I've really enjoyed. All in all a good game - I strongly recommend it if you enjoy isometric, party-based role playing games that takes you back to a time when games were about the strength of the story and it's characters - not just about the visuals (which are still great).
Very good game. I think the only problem is that alot of things are confusing if you haven't played pathfinder before. I'm mostly getting on from DND experience. Other than that, very good.
Got this game because i was hooked on baldurs gate 3 and this looked very similar. I was not disappointed after i started playing it. If youre into baldurs gate you'll love pathfinder also
If you are a fan of classic CRPGs or Pathfinder then you owe it to yourself to play this game. So many classes to choose from and with the addition of turn based mode it is much closer to tabletop experience. I have started this over so many times just to try different class combos and dialog options.
The game itself is pretty solid. It plays similarly to Baldur's Gate, but with quality of life improvements (such as the ability to collect missed loot as you are exiting an area). One issue i seem to be having is that the game has lag at times, which surprises me because my gamibg laptop can generally play everything st high settings. This is a minor issue for an isometric game, though.Overall, I recommend it to anyone who is into DnD or RPGs
Good RPG overall, with perhaps too much assumed knowledge of the pathfinder systems. I came to this without prior knowledge of pathfinder and there are times when I feel some details were not explained (the basics are certainly well covered). The game is quite long so not yet sure about the whole story, but so far it's quite interesting, with your choices making a difference, from small to big impacts.Overall, highly recommended for RPG fans!
