I'm a big fan of the Pathfinder Pawns series. Great value for the money. As others have mentioned this set does not include bases, so you'd need to buy those separately, or use ones from a boxed set. Art is top notch. They're printed on high quality, sturdy cardboard, and are pretty durable. All in all a great product if you plan to run this AP.

Their are well over 100 pieces included with this set, with 110 being unique creature/art-work. I own Bestiary 1, 2 & 3 as well as the NPC Codex, the pawn collection for Shattered Star Adventure Path & the pawn collection for Rise of the Rune Lords Adventure Path. Assuming my gaming group stays together, I will collect all the Pathfinder Pawns from Paizo. They are that good.

A handy way to keep track of chases, both before and during combat. Might have been a bit handier if there had been more alternate means to overcome some of the obstacle - but works very well if the GM treats them as recommendations and options, not as the only ways through the predicaments. Overall, a good way to handle a common situation.
Amazing product! Very well laid out with great art and an appreciation for detail. Great for neurodivergent folks as it breaks up the text with lots of images and uses accessible, large fonts.
A great introductory RPG box. The contents are very high quality and it comes with a good amount of material. The rules set is a stripped down version of the big Core Rulebook but is perfectly playable on its own. The included dry erase poster map and character pawns are useful to help visualize combat and can even be used in other RPG games if you wanted to. My favorite part of the set are actually the premade character sheets that have a lot of good hints and directions on what you can actually do with your character and are really helpful for new players to understand how things operate.
After playing through this game (and liking it), I looked to take this game to new places and levels. Nope. Sorry, but this isn't Pathfinder. The "full"" game doesn't resemble this Beginner Box. Actually, the only thing they share is the name and artwork. I liked the BB because it's lean and fun. But to continue playing Pathfinder, I was faced with a bloated monster that had more die rolling and math than Role Play.
The low cost item is a way to expand your miniatures collection. There are 111 different minis on sturdy cardboard, in all sizes from tiny to gargantuan. There are some multiple monsters, but there are 111 DIFFERENT miniatures. My roleplayers will surely appreciate new villains and creatures and NPC's for our game. Though these pawns were designed for the Pathfinder game, with a little imagination you could easily use them in any other roleplaying game. We are using these to play 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons.
We live these for our table top games. The artwork is fantastic and a lot cheaper than having to buy miniatures.
