Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush Just Enough

First time using anything by this brand and I'm impressed! I use this (Shade: She's Wanted - Rich Berry) on my cheekbones, occasionally even on lips and eyes, it's super versatile. For me it's the dry powder blush I mostly stick to, so now there's quite a disparity between the two formulas - one is disappearing much faster than the other! I tried the creme blush alone but it's too radiant on my skin so I stick to the dry and occasionally when the extra color payoff is needed, I'll use the powder followed by a little bit of the creme. You can even apply this with your fingertips, it goes on really well: smooth and LASTS! This blush due is so convenient for whenever I’m in a rush and need to do my makeup quick. It has an incredible amount of pigment- the powder blush is very pigmented and bold and one dip in is more than enough to see immense color payoff. The cream blush is also similar- one dunk of a dense brush is all you need. The only thing with the cream blush is that my brush bristle tend to shed when I pick up product but I’m unsure if that’s just an issue with my brushes. The cream blush leaves a sunkissed glow on the skin, as it’s pigmented but also breathable allowing your inner glow to shine through. The powder doesn’t take away the glow either and sets the cream in place beautifully. The cream is very blend able and just melts into the skin. OMG!!! The pigment is insanely incredible!!! I wasn't expecting so much color. It also lasts all day no touch ups at all. Although it's on the pricey side it is absolutely worth every single penny. Because the pigment is so amazing you barely have to dab your makeup brush just one time and you pick up so much color and product. Can't praise this blush enough

I got this blush in shade She's Blushing a while ago. It is a gorgeous reddish rose that on my olive skin gives quite saturated flush and I just loved it so much that wanted to get something a bit less bright and more bronzy for the summer. And decided to get She's so LA as my second one as read good reviews on it. It is just GORGEOUS! I was scared my skin tone was too light for it (I have light warm olive skin and during summer leaning towards light/medium) but it is just purely perfect. It creates this incredible "I just spent all afternoon in the sunshine" kinda look. It is warm but earthy and incredible flattering. This blush in general, would give 11/10 if I could. Divine Glowy Blush

Honestly I've went on to purchase numerous shades in this blush collection since buying this shade. The concept of this blush is really innovative with applying the powder first & then the cream on top which gives a gorgeous subtle sheen to the skin. It is highly pigmented so I'd go lightly with application. This (she's blushing) is such a versatile shade it's a staple in my every day makeup routine & has quickly become one of my all time favourite blushes. The longevity is brilliant (just be careful not to touch your face), the only down side being I find it can get stuck in my hair if I'm leaving it down but if I lock it in with my OneSize setting spray this isn't as much of a problem. Gorgeous and worth the price

I never have worn blush before. My cheeks are naturally rosy and I never thought to use it. I got a new foundation and color corrector that gives me a total blank canvas to work on. I wanted to try the kawaii blush look and I went straight for the Patrick Ta because I heard it was the best.The product is beautiful. It’s very pigmented but with the right brush, application can be intense to light so choose your brush carefully! I chose the tangerine color because I thought it would suit my skin tone and it does. I mostly use the powder since I’m bringing it up my temples and slightly into my eye lid. It lets me push the product where I need it and I can diffuse the intensity a bit if I go from a denser brush for application and a fluffier brush for softening the edges. It lasts all day and look truly beautiful. I have had lots of compliments.I want to note that I also bought the pale pink with the blue undertone. It reads total bubblegum and I’m not as in love with it as the tangerine. My husband said I looked sun brunt. The blue under hue is really intense and again the color is THERE. So purchase with caution; I feel the blue pink is more of a statement while the tangerine is more everyday.

I tend to look for more putty-like products. Powder highlighter can be too wispy and come off easily. In my experience, Patrick Ta fixed that problem! He not only gave us two options of highlighter/skin glow to chose from, he found the best format to apply the glow and make sure it stays put! I love to apply the powder to the cheeks,cupids bow and nose. Then, I dab on the balm on top to set the shimmer and creative a multidimensional look! I love the color and aesthetic of the packaging; it looks great amongst the rest of my makeup products and the other Patrick Ta products! I have it in “do we know her", "she's that girl", "she's so LA", "she's flushed" and "she's blushing". There is one more shade id like to own and that's "she's a doll". The powder blush is VERY pigmented, use a light hand. It packs a punch. Patrick Ta designed this to be used first, with the crème version on top. That struck me as odd, considering we are always putting powders over creams. But he's method is flawless. Apply a light wash of the powder and then used a densely packed brush or a damp beauty blender to apply the crème blush on top. It's getting to the point where I no longer trust verified purchase reviews on Sephora. Take Patrick Ta's Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush, for example. She's Wanted is a beautiful dark berry wine color with so much color saturation that it's intimidating. I've experimented with applying this blush/creme duo several ways but always end up with the same results: patchy color with absolutely no staying power. The color starts out well but literally evaporates an hour later, no joke. I've taken this blush pallet to work and reapplied it several times over an eight-hour day because the color simply doesn't last. It's actually ridiculous that the pan colors are so richly vibrant only to fade away to nothing several hours later, especially for the price.
