I was weary of purchasing this since its catered towards oily/combo skin and I have dry skin. However, I read several reviews stating this was good for dry and sensitive skin (+ the ingredients on this appealed a lot to my needs) so I decided to give it a try. After the first wash, my skin felt fine. After the third wash, my skin felt tight and looked way duller than usual. It felt as if my skin barrier had been completely stripped off my face.If you have dry sensitive skin - BE WEARY. I would recommend going with Vanicream Gentle Moisturizer instead - it’s much gentler on your dry skin and cheaper too.With that being said, I wouldn’t say this is necessarily a bad product, just not suited for my skin type.

I don't use alot of foaming cleansers because they are quite drying. However, I did find this product to be unique..it was not drying as other foaming cleansers and it had an amazing silky texture. And the product contains Hyaluronic acid, which is a very hydrating active ingredient I am obsessed with. A very small amount of product went a long way, so I anticipate this bottle lasting me a long time. It's also fragrance free which is a must for me, I avoid fragrance because I have sensitive skin and I usually get red when I use products with fragrance. I am also super acne prone, so i am very picky about what I put on my face. Definitely something I'd recommend to my gal pals

This is one of my favorite foaming cleansers! It has a creamy consistency when you pump it out of the bottle and lathers up very well into a nice foam. It is gentle enough to not strip the skin and leaves my skin feeling hydrated after cleansing. I never feel dry or tight. You can use this as a first cleanse or a second cleanse. When I wear a ton of make up. I will use it after using a micellar water when I’m in a rush I will use it on its own. It’s fragrance free and such a great size that last me a while I highly recommend this cleanser.

I’m never let down by Paula’s Choice! I would say I have more combination skin that’s starting to go from oily to dry as I get older. I’m very particular about cleansers and I need them to lather but I don’t want them to strip the face. I like the lightweight cream formula because it lathers up well but doesn’t strip your face like other foam cleansers I’ve used in the past. After cleansing it does feel like my face is free from the dirt/debris of the day and ready for skincare. I have eczema prone skin and I havnt seen a change in any redness or sensitivity either which is always a plus (especially with no fragrance!). It’s a really gentle cleanser and I’d recommend for anyone with sensitive skin looking to add a great first step to their routine.
Lovely cleanser! I have dry/combination skin, not super sensitive. This light foaming cleanser was very pleasant to use. The texture feels creamy & light, less tacky than most foaming cleansers. Since I do have dry skin I half expected this to leave my skin tight but I am happy to report that did not happen! I would say it’s more geared towards normal/oily skin types but not bad for my dry skin peeps. Also the price makes me so happy! A good cleanser at a good price. My only qualm is that I noticed the pump straw is shorter than the bottle - so I’m going to be fishing for the remaining product when this gets low & it won’t pump anymore. A pet peeve of mine, but it’s pretty common with these bottle types, so not a deal breaker!
Trying to pick out separate items got overwhelming and I'm glad I started with this kit to get started. My pores are SO much smaller and the redness around my nose is noticeably less.1. Cleanser - it's SUPER sudsy and gentle so you don't need a lot. This bottle will last a long time.2. BHA - this is nice and not overly drying which has alway been an issue for me. Again, only need a few drops.3. Hydrator - really lightweight and not super hydrating (I do use a serum after this step for the moisture I personally need).4. Hydrating fluid with SPF - this is weirdly watery but I love it because it's not heavy. It was weird getting used to because of the texture. A little greasy at first but soaks in quick. (I don't wear makeup so don't know how this works underneath)

It just evolves into this soft, foamy cream and removes all my makeup…even my sunscreen. I have so far only needed one full pump per use so it goes quite a ways. It definitely rivals my normal 2 step oil then water based cleansing routine but also works fantastic as a 2nd step. After patting dry my skin feels content and not stripped or tight. I’m gonna recommend this to anyone who asks me about a cleanser. I’m normally oily but lately I’ve been a bit on the dry side due to introducing higher strength retinol and I feel like this is very safe because it doesn’t feel like it’s harming my barrier at all. This is one of the best cleansers that I have ever used. The texture and appearance of the formula surprised me upon first use. It’s a creamy texture and it almost looks like lotion when it comes out of the pump. It’s very luxurious and creamy. It foams up nicely when I lather it with water and it’s very gentle on my skin. After use my face doesn’t feel tight or stiff as it has previously when using other cleansers. I can tell that this one does not strip the natural oils entirely off of my face. I will definitely be repurchasing once I run out.
