This product hits the mark for everything it states that it executes. Dark spots are fading, texture is even throughout my face, I am glowing with and without makeup application. I have such sensitive skin and was nervous to try a new product. Paula never misses. I've never seen such potent and fast results with one serum. Buying two bottles now so I am stocked up. I really enjoyed this beautiful blend of actives. It's very lightweight and hydrating, I appreciate the smaller percentage of retinol especially coming in to the summer months. My skin feels supple, smooth and hydrated after first use, very easy to layer under moisturizers/SPF in daytime.

Oh my goodness, never again. I had such high hopes, however this product made my skin extremely irritated - itchy, warm to touch, painful, and I even developed a few small acne lesions. 3 days later and I am still feeling the impacts. I used this product per the instructions and I understand that some irritation may be expected the first time, but it this was too much.

I used this product per the instructions and I understand that some irritation may be expected the first time, but it this was too much.
My pores are noticeably smaller and my complexion improved after only a few times using it. It's part of my nighttime routine. I have sensitive skin and have not had any breakouts. I recommend this product.
I decided to buy the travel size since there were zero reviews when I made the purchase. The first time I used it, I seen immediate results the next day. My skin looked youthful, bright, and poreless! Retinol usually dries my skin out too bad but this one doesn't! I highly recommend, especially if you have dark marks or want to even your complexion.
This serum has absolutely transformed my skin. I'd been using it morning and evening for about three weeks and honestly hadn't really noticed any difference in my complexion and then suddenly - bam! - my face looks brighter, smoother and with dramatically more even tone and fading of dark spots. I started with a sample size and this was a fast & easy decision to purchase the full size product. I started with once a day and now 2 times daily. I am at the age where I definitely benefit from the retinol & niacinamide. Especially in the s.m., I notice the radiance from having slept after using it. I use it on my face & neck. It only takes a few drops. I notice the tightening, lifting & brightening after just several weeks. I am 65 years old and very thankful for this product. However, these ingredients are fabulous for all ages.
Started with a travel size but quickly ordered multiples of the full size. This is lightweight and I mix with my Intensive Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum am/pm. My skin loves this combo and it soaks in quickly. My skin is smoother and brighter. The brightening of my skin was pretty dramatic. Great new product Paula's Choice!
I use a prescription retinol alternating with Resist Intensive Wrinkle repair serum at night and love that combo. However I didn't have much of a morning routine other than the former version of bha 1% (I can't use the new one) and sunscreen, and was looking for something light and moisturizing to wear under PC tinted sunscreen that doesn't pill. I also have a soy allergy so my choices were limited. This works well, moisturizes and has active ingredients that I'm happy to have in my routine. My face has a healthy glow with it and no breakouts. And thank you for not including soy in this one. Yay! Looking forward to seeing how it affects my skin long term as it's too soon to tell.
Because of the type of retinol in this, if you are using the regular retinol cream like I am, and have sensitive skin, this stuff works absolutely amazing with my AM skincare routine and it hasn't made my skin break out at all and my skin is super sensitive! Just make sure you follow up with sunscreen especially if you use it in the morning. I use my 1% Retinol and then my Moisturizer with Retinol at night so I didn't want to incorporate more Retinol, even though it is a different type, and it honestly works so amazingly with my other am skincare items!!
