This does a fantastic job of trapping almost all litter and dust in it with the double layered design. The tag claimed that cats like to scratch it - I was a bit doubtful, but my cat loves it! She scratches it every day. It's a win for everyone.

Great product put in front of tray a little bit of litter comes out on cats feet and mat gets it all the time. Very happy with all products I have purchases. A friend commented how good products were. Can't be any better then that.

Good quality mat. Traps cat litter well.

Stops cat litter spreading around the floor as it falls through the holes in the upper layer. When ready to empty you simply open a couple of Velcro flaps and tip it out. Great product if you hate having cat litter crunching under your feet.

Traps litter and keeps floor tidy. Good size, covers a large area. I don't have to spend as much time sweeping up litter anymore!

Definitely does the job of trapping the litter! Only downside is sometimes my litter crystals are too big for the holes and the odd few to get away. But overall very useful especially if you keep a litter box inside.

pros - larger size is far better - cats drag litter a long way - something twice this size would have been even more useful. I cannot imagine anything smaller than this being of any use whatsoever. -the soft rubberised cross-hatching does a very good job of catching most litter bits, but the cat RUNS away from the litter box leaving a long trail of litter far beyond the mat edge, (or sometimes jumps out on the side without the mat) - so we really need a long runway mat if anything :) -lightweight, non absorbent materials, very easy to rinse/wash and quick drying. cons - because of the way the velcro tabs meet in the centre, it is more difficult to open than the smaller mats with velcro/opening on one side, so it is more effective to just curl the mat up a bit and ... Morepros - larger size is far better - cats drag litter a long way - something twice this size would have been even more useful. It works!!

I recently bought this so that I wasn't treading on those horrible cat litter crystals, ouch! It works brilliantly at trapping the crystals in the little diamond shapes. When you need to clean up, all you need to do is pick it up, bend it a little and the crystals are all trapped inside and ready to be tipped back into the litter tray, Easy! Wish I'd known this product was out there earlier. Would have saved my feet. :-)

Waterproof no, water resistant definitely

I had one of these before but because my cat was prone to accidents (missing the kitty litter tray and peeing just outside of it) the fabric edges started to smell. But I never thought about putting a puppy pad in the middle of it (as one of the photos show) this is such a fantastic idea and has stopped any of the mess getting to the edges. The only reason I have given in 4 stars instead of 5 is because it does say waterproof and the edges are fabric and Velcro so I don't technically think that is true and can be deceiving for people who havent used these mats before and might have a messy cat like mine
