My little kitten wasn't a fan of the horizontal boards, and I always noticed him trying to scratch vertically on my couch. This board is perfect, and my couch is saved!
Bought this on a whim to stop my cats from scratching my sofa. Pretty easy to put together if you pay attention. They love it.. even before it was assembled lol! They'll do a big stretch and claw at the top, then they claw at the bottom for a bit. It's helped quite a bit with keeping the sofa safe(r)!
Needs to be weighted down as it moves/slides around every time cat uses it.
