I love it. It's a decent build quality, and for the price I can't complain. If I paid a little more, I would have gone with something with a grip on the back. But I personally love the RGB and the smoothness of the controller. Plus the actually controls are very responsive. All around good controller. Works for both Windows PC and Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. It is wired, even though the cord can be unplugged from the controller, it does NOT have any wireless functions. If you want a wireless controller just get the standard Xbox controller.

The Afterglow usb wired controller is a really cool plug and play replacement controller for Xbox. The transparent plastic frame shows all the complex internal components and looks great. When powered on in active mode, the LED lights are immediately noticeable and greatly enhance the aesthetics of the controller. The light level is aesthetically perfect and does not disturb the eye, even in a completely dark space. This wired controller (detachable 8ft) helped me out a lot, as I was getting annoyed when my wireless controllers' batteries died. Lights and other options can be customized in an Xbox app, so the controller becomes whatever you want it to be. I am really impressed with the quality.

The Afterglow Wired Controller for Xbox Series X/S is an average controller that gets the job done. The buttons and sticks are semi-responsive, and the customizable lighting effects are a nice touch. My grandsons loves this afterglow wired controller. It is so easy to use. The colors are amazing when it is lit up. You can control the lighting of this controller. There is a software available for Xbox and Windows PC where you can control the lighting. Love the shiny glossy look that makes it stand it. This controller is durable and very well made. The buttons is so easy to press and the analog buttons move very smoothly. Overall this afterglow wired controller is a great product to have.

The controller is connected via a removable power cable that is also a very nice, manageable length. This means that this controller is great for people who play at a desk - no batteries required!4.) The price of the controller and what you get with it plus the little bit of personalization and troubleshooting with some adjusting is a steal compared to buying an official Xbox controller.Cons:1.) The same "added finger strength needed" I talked about earlier is really not that big of a deal, but it's noticeable. You'll notice the migration to this controller could possibly fast forward to hand and wrist pain conditions.2.) Despite controller's nice shape and lightweight construction I would not say that this controller is as durable as its higher priced counterpart from Microsoft; there is something about this plastic that does not give me confidence for when the device accidentally falls out of someone's hands, off the table, etc... Some people might even find issue with how light the controller is. An added issue, the controller is made out of a smooth finish, hi-gloss plastic that can make the users hands get sweaty and clammy; a definite back-track from the Xbox One's textured nice grip.3.) I, after 5 months of use, noticed some joystick structure and material degradation. I would say the choice of circular grooves did provide a nice grip for my thumbs in the beginning of its use but it wore off rather quick compared to my Xbox One S controller. Today is when I noticed that I have stick-drift probably from extended use which in the defense of the product is something that I did not document in detail - but that is because it happened yesterday. No controller droppage just usage. So, watch out for that. I am going to probably look for a new controller pretty soon if the drift gets worse. I'll keep this one because everything else works completely fine.-----I cannot speak towards any usage that maybe is average or below average use since I have only heavily used the controller for 5 months, but I can confidently say this is a great alternative to the Xbox series of controllers for the price. Is the quality better? In some ways use, but most others no. Again, it's about the price you're paying, the fact it comes with Xbox firmware and a PDP software download link, and it's differences in construction and inputs from the Xbox One controller add a great experience and value for the price despite the areas where it lacks and falls behind.

love the way it looks and its much lighter than traditional wireless controllers. It is wired which I love because I don't like having to replace batteries or remember to charge the remote. It took me about an hour because the remote needed a software update. But upon finishing the setup and updates, it works like a charm. I love that you can change the colors and the light rhythm of the controller. You can edit the sensitivity levels of all the toggles and buttons which is very useful for certain games. Overall, if you're willing to put in a little extra work for a cool controller this is a great controller for you.
