I have the Black 45L travel and the Ash 6L Sling. I was eyeing the Bone backpack because I wanted a small backpack that barely fits the 14 MacBook Pro and some other stuff as a personal item on flights. The 6L sling was nice for a camera with 3 prime lenses and the Ash color doesnt get dirty but the Bone color scheme is so classy good looking and I wanted to maximize the personal item use. It looks kinda dull and doesnt stand out if you want to avoid thieves but im a guy and I almost love this BONE. I keep looking at it as it sits on the floor.

This holds everything I need for a day out with my gear. I can carry the X-T4 with 50-140 f/2.8 mounted, 23 f/1.4, 56 f/1.2, 16-55 f/2.8 and more! I don't normally carry that much, but I can if I want to. If I don't completely stuff the main compartment I can easily carry my 13" M1 MacBook Air and 11" iPad Pro. I usually only carry one or the other, but they do both fit. The side pockets expand easily and are very secure. The zippers are incredibly smooth and the 270 4-way zippers are genius. This is a great looking backpack made with premium materials. I use it as my daily carry bag when commuting to work in NYC. I carry my Nikon D500 (no battery pack) with a Sigma 17-50mm at the bottom of the bag plus my 12.9 inch iPad Pro in the laptop pouch. Overall, I like this backpack and am happy I purchased it. My two issues with it are:1) As a 210 pound 6'3 guy, I find the backpack straps a bit short. As a result my shoulders tend to push them aside requiring regular adjustment as a I walk. In addition, the chest strap is not usable as even in it's lowest position it sits too close to my neck.2) While the Peak Design FlexFold dividers and innovative, I'm not sure they're as protective and versatile as more traditional dividers can be.

I have the ash color which looks great but gets dirty easier than other colors. The bag opens up completely so it's easy to configure and can repurpose for non camera usage. Its light and strong material make it easy to carry and feel safe with my gear. It's 15L but enough to hold two camera with mid size lens plus one extra lens and misc. accessories or one large camera with multiple lenses. The side pocket is tight, I use one to hold PD travel tripod and the other for small water bottle. The only thing I wish for is the magnetic shoulder belt like the other PD backpack.

I love love love this backpack. It's attractive but not grabbing attention. I love the personalization and the quality. It's amazing! I did get the smaller one because I'm short and petite. I did knock a star because I think it would be nicer if the side pockets could be a little more stretchy or expandable. That's being a little picky though. I also wish the hip belt fit with this. They say it technically can, but doesn't quite fit as well as the 20L, and shouldn't necessarily be needed due to the smaller loads this backpack would carry compared, but I'm a smaller person and if I'm hiking all day I think the hip belt would be beneficial if I'm carrying my tripod, water, etc...

Only about two thirds of the inside are covered with the Velcro material that these dividers attach to. This excludes the whole top part of the backpack. Which means that one divider has to be used just to close off that section of the backpack. Otherwise your camera gear will flop around inside. That leaves only one divider which is simply just not enough. Especially since the bottom of the bag feels very thin and could use a bit more padding. This is a great backpack. The functionality delivers as promised. It takes some fiddling (but as photographer gear heads, isn’t that what we all want anyway?), but it absolutely works. Exceptionally versatile. I love having space for non photo gear, too.In the 15L, I can pack and R5, 28-70 f/2, and three primes. There’s still room left for plenty of other gear in the non camera portion, a smaller tripod, and a water bottle. If oriented vertically, you can pack a big telephoto zoom and a prime. Be careful, it’s easy to over pack it! It can get heavy or over stuffed.The side access works great. It's expensive, but you get a lot of innovation for your money. I like the style.... it doesn't look like a hiking bag, it's got a simple minimal sleek urban style. All of the materials and hardware feels top rate.Only downside is that it's very expensive but Altitude Sports offered it at a great price during one of their sales.
