Peak Design makes great products, and this bag is no exception. I am a convert to their tripod after it proved it could be more stable in a smaller size than my larger and heavier carbon fiber 'pod. Really love their attachment system for straps. I was all set to love this bag, it just wasn't a good fit for me. It is very comfortable to wear, pockets are good, well-built. I chose the color ash because every other camera bag I have ever owned has been black so I wanted something different! This color also happens to match a brown leather chest bag that I use for traveling along my gray luggage and backpack. This bag is certainly a keeper!

International buyers: do NOT buy this online if you can't return it, don't risk it. This bag doesn't work as advertised on the official Peak Design video on youtube. Or at least for me.I'm 182cm and weigh 92 kilos (so I have a belly). I was also blessed with manboobs (this is important for the review). In the video you see them showing a bag loaded with a DSLR AND a travel tripod. I bought it because I thought this would be an amazing combo. It's not. It just doesn't work. There is no comfortable position for this bag. The shoulder may be OK for a short period of time (forget wearing this bag for an all-day trip), but the strap across the chest is just excruciating after 2 minutes. The sling in the bag is flapping around, it doesn't really hug your back. There is also no way this bag isn't somehow pulling your shirt. It'll wrinkle on one side of the strap and be too tight on the other. you'll pull your shirt to adjust it and as soon as you move around a little bit, your clothes are a mess again.I also tried removing weight. Even just the bag itself and a 10000mAh power bank is still uncomfortable.Unfortunately I bought this internationally. Return shipping would cost me more than the bag itself, so I'll have to keep it. It'll probably be good for carrying my camera from house to car, and from car to a shoot, but really, this is not a walking around bag. As a consolation, the PD tripod works fantastic with my LowePro ProTactic 450. Can easily attach it to the outside. It's a ridiculously big backpack (which I use as carry-on luggage) but at least it's comfortable to wear, even fully loaded. I didn't really want to take it with me to long walks (going to Japan for one month) but it'll have to do.

Now, I can bring my camera/lenses safely out of sight until I need to take it out to shoot some images. Afterwards, I can tuck it away neatly out of sight while walking around.The 3L is great for small prime lenses but was a bit too small for a telephoto lens - the 6L is perfect. Not too big, not too small. I can put my A7RIV and my Tamron 70-180mm lens in there with room to spare. Great quality product. I bought this in preparation for our trip to Costa Rica.My requirements were to be able to carry my Nikon Z50, and a couple lenses. Everything fits great and I can't wait to test it.Took it out on a family trip to test it out and the quality build was noticeable while it rained. Stored my phone, Z50, kit lens, 16 oz water bottle and wallet.The pack felt great on my shoulder and back, I used the extra straps to carry rolled up rain coats and didn't notice much bulk to the shape. I ended up grabbing a capture clip to go with it and I am really impressed with Peak Design's quality! Highly recommend!Great for day trip to carry a few things and not feel like a big back pack!

So, after sketching out this bag's internal measurements it looked like it might be possible and I ordered it from Wex. Answer: the EOS R WILL fit lens down (24-105/adapted 17-35/RF 85) into this bag alongside an RF 70-200 2.8 WITH its hood! For info, all my lenses have clear filters attached, with the 70-200 pictured fitted with both a 77mm UV and an additional Cir Pol filter - still fits fine. It is snug, but it's also very secure and nothing rattles about. If I wished, it will fit the 70-200 attached to the camera body, but only on its side. It then essentially takes up all of the bag's usable space. Strap is thinner that the big boy Peak design strap, but is still comfy. All in all, I am completely satisfied with this solution: a always want to carry a couple of lenses and this lets me do that in the most efficient way with the smallest 'footprint'. I would expect this bag will probably last many years.What I don’t love is the interior design and strap. There are two small elastic pockets on each end of the bag but the elastic loop is stiff and doesn’t stretch much. It’s comfortable enough, but going from shoulder carry to waist pack is not as simple as videos suggest. Unless you prefer very short should straps or you have a large waist, and there isn’t much difference in strap length between the two styles.All in all, it’s a good looking bag with great build quality and some thoughtful design in other areas. The hype and price unfortunately set the expectations to a much higher level than some competition which is what leads to a bit of disappointment in the end. Try before you buy.
The bag barely holds a mirrorless camera (with lens) + an extra lens setup. It's always almost too tight to zip close the bag after putting in camera. But when you are shooting and the camera is out, you can fit in 2 small bottles of water which is nice. So if you want to comfortably handle your camera, get the 10L one. (but if you want the smallest possible, get this one.) 3L is not for mirrorless / DSLR.The shoulder strap is a little too slippery, I could never wear this on the same side of shoulder, otherwise it gets off easily. The front pouch is too thin, even for a wallet it will stick out.Overall when using Peak Design products, they don't work like the magic as others say about them. This bag is beautifully constructed out of quality materials and the hard case does a good job of protecting all of the contents inside. I used the bag for the first time during a two hour photo trip to a museum to hold my Nikon mirror-less camera/mounted lens plus two small lenses, a thin fabric wallet in the tablet pocket and an IPhone in the front pocket. I found that it was difficult to get the wallet out of the tablet pocket because there were contents in the bag and it was difficult to get the phone out of the front pocket due to its tight construction. Also, the bag was very uncomfortable to wear as a sling or cross-body against my body because of the hard outer shell.
