Peak Design Field Pouch V2 (Midnight)
As a minimalist carryall, the award-winning Field Pouch stands alone. But don’t call it a loner. That’s because Field Pouch is 2 bags in 1: it’s your solo day bag for essential carry, and it’s your trusty wing-bag, keeping smaller items organized within a larger bag. A unique hook-and-loop roll-top opening grants easy access, massive expansion (it doubles in volume), and quick compression to eliminate unused space. Inside you’ll find a thoughtful layout of stretch pockets and zip pockets to keep cords, cards, batteries, keys—even small lenses or camera bodies—organized and not jingling around. Included ultralight adjustable strap enables cross-body or shoulder carry, and integrated belt loops allow for waist carry. For a lightweight shooting setup, attach a Capture Clip (sold separately) and keep your camera outside the pouch—keep your rig at-the-ready, and increase storage space for accessories. All fabrics are recycled and Bluesign approved, including the soft internal felt liner and the 400D double poly-coated weatherproof nylon canvas shell. Now in its 2nd generation, the V2 Field Pouch features tons of usability optimizations like an included strap, improved pocket layout, and dual Capture attachment points. Updated patterning integrates loads of functionality into single, sweeping seam lines for a timeless, minimal look.

I diligently measured my camera and compared its dimensions to the inner dimensions listed for this bag. Based on those measurements my Lumix GH 5 Mk II should fit in the bag. And it does--sort of. The camera fits but the velcro closure is not the least bit secure. I'd be terrified that an untoward move while hiking with this pack would cause the lid to flop open, leaving my camera at risk of crashing to the trail. In the end, I had to return the bag.Otherwise the bag seemed nice enough, sturdy and easy to access the inside. Others have commented about the fact that the way the strap attaches to the pack itself is prone to come apart in use.All in all, I wouldn't buy this bag to carry fragile items that could break if the bag comes disconnected from the strap or ... I use this pouch everyday to bring all of my essential i may need throughout the day. The design is very sleak and minimalist while still being very versatile. Its a very robust pouch that is absolutely worth the money.

I purchased this for my Fujifilm X100V. It's a great size for a compact camera since I don't need to store lens or other accessories. I stash a few cables, neck strap, and lens filters in it along with the camera and have no issues. It does come with a strap, but I primary purchased this as a "bag-in-a-bag" for luggage or backpacks. I'm sure it would work well as stand alone too. The color and and aesthetics are very nice and the build quality seems great as you'd expect with Peak Design. Overall a great bag at a decent price.

I love peak design products and was hoping this field pouch would live up to the expectations. One of the things I wanted was a pouch with to capture clip attachment points that will serve as oversized pocket on my belt (since it's hard to get into your pockets if you have capture clip on your belt). This works OK if you barely put anything in it. As soon as it's even half full, the shape of the pouch and very weak velcro prevent it from closing. I'm debating if I want to try to buy some sort of snap buttons and install them myself in addition to the velcro (understanding it invalidates the warranty). Or if I just want to sell it used (losing most of the value). Really disappointing product.
This was hard for me to rate. It is very well made and should work very well for anyone needing a bag of this configuration. But, for me, the configuration of the interior pockets just didn't line up with stuff I wanted to use it for. Also, I've read comments about V1 versus V2 design. They are different and depending on your use that may make a difference. I find I'm a huge fan of the Peak Straps and an advantage of the V1 is it was designed to use one. The features are different and YMMV, but I think in general the V2 bag is probably more useful pocket layout and size.
I was looking for an everyday carry that would hold one of my cameras(a small one). It seems very well made and works well but a Fuji Xpro with a small lens takes up almost the whole pouch. If wearing the camera it can hold what I need plus an extra lens and battery. The only other criticism is that the strap is so so and using a Peak strap seems like extra work and cost if you don't already own one(I do and that is what I did do though). If nothing to big or if not using with a strap then you should be pleased.
Maybe a little small and its hard to see inside the pouch when its full. Particularly in the zippered pocket. But it gets the job done and the larrger pouch was too big for my needs.
The pouch is very good quality. It is very versatile you can use it as sling bag over the shoulder or it can be attach to the belt. I wish the velcro was a bit stronger but other than that this is perfect for a day hike. I can fit my Canon M50 and a lens with out problem. I would recommend this pouch to anyone.
This is a very nice pouch that looks good, can be expanded, but also folds flat for packing. I plan to use to carry an additional lens plus batteries, etc. while sightseeing.
I like slim design of this pouch, it holds just enough essentials, material is study. However, I wanted use it as crossbody also for quick trip to grocery and stuff, but opening of this pouch is just velcro which doesn't provide secure closing. I wish they close with locking material. I also bought straps for crossbody use, but I don't think I can use it as that purpose. Just pouch, that's it.
