Peak Design Small Packing Cube

The first thing that you notice with these packing cubes is the feel of the material. It's super smooth and soft to the touch. The second is the quality of the components and the stitching, which is excellent. They are light, and seem very durable.Although they are pricey, they can't be beat when quality comes in play. I had the Eagle Creek compression cubes, and I returned them due to poor stitching, which will be the first thing to fail in a compression cube (due to the tension exerted from the compression).If you want the best, and are willing to shell out the money, get these packing cubes.

A packing game-changer!

I'm an efficient packer without cubes, but I decided to try using packing cubes for the first time for a 5-day trip abroad so I could fit all my gear inside my carry-on Peak Design 35L duffel bag. I bought a small and a medium, and I gotta say, I'm impressed!I rolled my clothes and fit more than I thought I could. The small size easily holds a week's worth of personals and socks with room to spare, and the medium cube fits 5 pairs of shorts, a pair of pants, a jumpsuit, 8 tops, and a bathing suit—then compresses!Speaking of, the cubes compress easily with minimal fighting from the zippers, which are nice, and the overall quality seems solid. An innovative compression sack concept.

This is the first compression sack I've owned that relies on a zipper instead of external straps. Initially, I was skeptical of its ability to compress clothing effectively, but I was happily proven wrong. The fact that the cube interfaces with the Peak Design packing unit system is a massive convenience, and I will certainly be purchasing more!

Excellent build quality

Expected an overpriced compression bag, got an excellent compression bag with a really good build quality. All the bags founctions are awesome, the dirty loundry back pocket, the quick opening handle, everything was well designed. You end up with a compression bag you will use and use again

Great little package!

This fits perfect for my 35L travel duffel! Although I do not have the medium one, I’m using cheap amazon ones and it fits nicely with it! One thing I did notice is that if I stuff too many socks into it and compress it, it gets lumpy. Not faulting it, but something that I noticed. I’m excited to get the medium to see how well they go together.

Love the dual pockets!

I can fit about two complete outfits per small cube! After I wear my outfit, I pack it on the other side of the divider. Once I wear both outfits, the entire cube becomes a dirty cube and I move onto my next cube of clean clothes! Keeps everything very organized for a multi day trips.

Packs Perfectly for Travel

Peak Design cubes are brilliantly built. The zippers are flawless and the material makes packing smaller items a breeze. I purchased two, along with the medium sized one for an upcoming 4 day trip! Peak Design make great products! Will purchase more PD items in the future!

Perfect Compression Cube

We have been using these cubes for two back packing trips now and they are great for compressing our clothing down. The small is perfect for socks, underwear and shirts. It really does save on the room in your bag too. It has a separated zipped in the back that can be used to store dirty clothes throughout the trip too. I highly suggest using this if you are looking to squeeze in that extra shirt or if you are looking to save on space in the bag. The zipper quality is great and they have stood up to our trips thus far.

Simple and lightweight, thoughtful features

Any Peak Design product is thoughtfully designed I've found. I had never traveled with packing cubes before this week. The people who say it changes the way you travel are right. In a good way. It "rips" open when you pull the tab and zips closed. And a bottom zipper is for the dirty clothes compartment. I appeciate the simplicity of this. I didn't need to use the expansion zipper, too, but I see how easily it would work.
